Mrs Briggs- so you horrible bunch I have teach you sex Ed because your all getting to that age where you will be sexual active and because principal Franklin said it was mandatory to teach this. First what is contraception.
She looks around the classroom.
Mrs Briggs- Freddie benson would you like to tell me what contraception is.
Freddie- it protects you from getting pregnant and STI'S
Mrs Briggs- good now can someone name as many contraceptions as they can. Samatha Puckett.
She called out a very distracted Sam staring out the window
Sam- hmm
Mrs Briggs- could you name as many contraceptions as you can
Sam- condom, the pill, injection and implant
Mrs Briggs- how are they used
Sam- a condom is used by the boy and the pill injection and implant are all used by the girl they all like stop the egg being released and a condom stops any sexually transmitted diseases and any sperm getting through to the egg but it don't always work
Mrs Briggs- what makes you say that
Sam- there's the 1% that it won't work you have to be very unlucky for that
Mrs Briggs- right now the importance of contraception. You wanna use protection at your age cause if you get pregnant it can ruin your future. My friend had a child at 17 she had no choice but to leave school.
Sam- there are always choices. Women who have children are not automatically failures.
Mrs Briggs- but that's like 1 in 100 that make it somewhere after teenage pregnancy.
Sam- I need to go
