Ow. Everything hurts and though you think you're waking up, you're still exhausted. Your back cracks as you sit up, looking around you see that you're in the large bed that you've grown a hatred for but, you also see someone you didn't expect to see.

"Ah, good morning Your Divineness."

"Reaven-?"

You cough, your throat dryer than you expected. Reaven, who you don't remember to have black hair but his golden eyes are something that you'll never forget, passes you a glass of water and you drink it quickly. Reaven was by your side and gently rubbing your back as you chug your drink.

"Take your time, you must be a little drained after crying so much last night."

"Crying?"

Reaven hummed, his hand now stilling and the other grabbing the empty glass, placing it to the side. His eyes are studying you, every move you make added to a large library in his mind.

"Yes, I couldn't get you to stop. Not even a warm bath stopped your tears... What on earth were you crying about?"

You, not knowing whose body it was if not Reaven's, grab his shoulders and force his back against the soft sheets that covered your bed, the tiredness you felt moments ago vanished within seconds. One hand moving from his shoulders to his neck, not holding him strong enough to bring any pain but enough to intimidate.

"I was crying because you died."

His eyes widen, mouth following suit as he lets out a confused noise.

"You... Your Divineness, I'm right here. I didn't die, and I won't. Not when I have you to serve."

Tears again began to form at your eyes, though you refused to let them drop.

"Then how are you here? Your body..."

You didn't even notice your grip weakened until your now raven-hair Reaven breaks from it, wrapping his arms around your neck.

"I ran away for your safety. Somebody- Something was chasing me, trying to kill me but, here I am. Safe, sound, and by your side once again."

How long ago was it since you've been given a sincere hug? Why is Reaven's shirt getting wet?
Oh.

It's your tears.

"Reaven, don't let go. Please."

"Hmm,"

Reaven watched as you fell asleep in his arms, both his and yours cheeks red but for very different reasons. He knew you might not feel the same as he does but he's just happy to serve you, he can be by your side forever.

Literally.

As long as you and he died over and over again.

Hmm...

Yeah, he could probably convince you to commit double suicide.

He heard there was a potion maker in town, though he was quite a flirt, and you're so very persuadable. He would have to keep you away from him.

"I knew you weren't human."

Reaven glances at the door, realizing he already failed to keep you safe from the flirt.
