Reaven didn't let you leave after giving Moteon your blessing, you should have expected that it was a private ceremony just for the Holy, Royals, and the birthday boy's family. You would start a war if you up and left before the prince sent you home, so you waited patiently, watching Gabriel and Aurelian arrive together, glaring at each other.

"Royal Rumble?"

"Your Divineness!"

You didn't mean to say that out loud but it was rather cute when Reaven acted like your mother-

KEEP A CLOSER EYE ON YOUR KNIGHT.

What?

TRY AGAIN.

YES<

That's new...?

"Sweetheart, time to wake up."

This is not your comfortable bed, you're not even sure if this could be considered a bed with how rough it felt. Also, not once have you've been woken up by a woman, not that it's bad she's a girl, just odd.

"Y/n, your sister just got home, you need to wake up."

You open your eyes, not seeing gold, either on your bed or in your companion's eyes, wait. Aunt Demi?

"There's my little man. Your lunch is going cold."

"Seriously Y/n, I tried to wake you up earlier, you sleep like a dead man."

You rub your tired eyes, even as you sat up you felt the pattern of the mattress on your back, which is clad in yellow and grey. You had to be seeing things, this was a sick joke. You refused to believe that your effort went to waste, though if this is true, you're thankful to get away from Abel.

Your Aunt gently rubs your shoulder, seemingly growing more and more concerned as you blankly stare at the wall.

"Sweetheart? Are you feeling okay?"

Let's go with the classic, it will give you some time to think.

"I had a vision."

"What?! Do holy genes run in this family?! What was it?!"

Okay, maybe you made a mistake, too late to turn back now.

"Well, Aunt Demi-"

She gasps, a hand going to her mouth as tears start to flow from her green eyes.

"Oh, Y/n, I'm so sorry you had to find out this way."

"Mom? What do you mean?"

She waves Medea over, telling her to sit on the bed as more tears find their way down her pale skin. Medea got her hair and face shape but that was about it, though you don't know if she got the rest from her mother's husband or someone else, as you had never seen him before.

"Please wait here, I need to get something. I'm so sorry Y/n."

You both watch as Demi leaves, her outfit covered in green accents, her shirt and pants a matching grey, the same as yours. What kind of wood was that door made of? It wasn't shining as the blessed wood did, nor was there any gold-painted onto it.

There was no gold at all, not one jewel either.

This was not your home.

"W... what was your vision Y/n?"

Since you were cut off at Aunt Demi last time, you think you'll go with that.

"Demi is my aunt. You should be my cousin."

You should be, so why are you here? This wasn't normal.

Medea suddenly hugs you and out of instinct you wrap your arms around her. Your shirt, like Reavens, slowly becomes wet with someone else tears. Where was Reaven? He isn't by your side like he promised he always would be, that's for sure. You, shocking yourself, don't push her off and instead let her cry onto you. It seems like you two had a closer relationship in this life if this was one of your reincarnations, and it would be rather odd if you didn't play along.

Demi walks back in, a man, about four inches taller than you, following her. They both held pictures and books, not a single thing more would fit in their arms. The man, who had soft purple hair that you would not forget even in a hundred lives, was wearing just grey. He had the same skin as Medea, who was still sobbing onto you.

He was also teary, though not as much as the women in this cramped room. Aunt Demi drops the things in her arms near the foot of the bed, that was freezing even if you had two sheets, and she also hugs you. Her arms are tighter, almost like you would leave this reality if she lighted even in a little.

"I'm so sorry. If I knew you would find out this way..."

"We really are sorry Y/n, we thought it would be better if you didn't know."

So the purple-haired man knew. It appears only Medea was unaware, though you were also left half in the dark.

You look at the man, he was staring at the hug rather awkwardly so you wave him in, and then the waterworks really start. You were almost being crushed, especially under the new weight of the apparently very strong man.

"No matter what,"

Medea takes a break to let out a silent sob.

"You'll always be my brother."

So, that was it. This was your new life, as Medea's fake brother? Without Reaven by your side? Why? Had you been killed, were those drinks that Abel gave you all too powerful? You didn't even have a chance to restart this, there was always a grace period before you could die without worry. That's why in your last life the bullet, that someone had aimed for your heart, had changed course. Framing a young man.

"You're taking this better than expected."

You didn't even want to attempt to say how many times he had to take a break to cry.

"I suppose I expected this. It's not like I'll up and leave."

"Aren't we leaving to the palace tomorrow?"

...

"It's not like we won't write... er, mom."

You were more than uncomfy.

So now you're joining Medea on her way to the palace? You wonder whose the Divine Preist then.

Once they left you alone for a moment you would break down, everyone needed a good cry and your almost perfect life was just taken from you. Of course, there were a few upsides, no ceremonies, no services, no weird kings or princes, no creepy man with red eyes, and no man who nearly crushed your neck.
