"Your Divineness~ It's time to wake up."
You let out a groan as someone gently shakes you, not missing the soft laugh and the breath fanning against you because of it. The hands that were softly shaking you travel up from your shoulders, up. One tilting the bottom of your chin up and the other running itself through your messy bed hair.
"Oh, I know. Waking up is so awful, isn't it? I wish I could cuddle and sleep with you but a certain man, who is bleaching his hair, wants you up for dinner."
As your eyes crack open you see Abel's pretty eyes, and even if you were worried about the apparently alive Reaven, you can't help but become calm as your brain becomes fuzzy. You were sure you could actually get lost in them if he did this to you long enough.
You didn't know that's what he wanted.
"Well hello, handsome! Good morning though it's around seven. At night."
He lets out another breathy laugh, his hands leaving your body only for you to sit up and grab them. You didn't mean to, so why did you do it? You're not sure but it makes Abel smile, his teeth seem sharp. They might be able to pierce your skin, drawing the pretty red colour that both you and he liked.
Abel sighs, warm breath on your joined hands, and he leans forward slightly. His lips seem so kissable... but they never did before. Every little mark on his body deserves love, kisses.
Ki... kisses?
You didn't even notice Damien separate you until he started speaking.
"Abel, you know Reaven will try to cut your hands off. Again."
He nods, rubbing his wrist and you see stitches. The injuries on his arm weren't straight, they were cut in random directions and some looked like they went deeper than others. Reaven did that? No.
Well, maybe. He seemed more possessive before you went to dreamland, though you don't know why. He has to stay by you no matter what.
Hmm... he doesn't want to stay by Medea's side. Yay.
"Your Divineness? Dinner's ready, and it's required to eat. You have to go to the party tomorrow, you need the energy."
"Where's... where's Reaven?"
Silence. Neither of them answer you. You look up, seeing two stone faces. Damien's eyes were softer than Abel's, though he looked more dejected while the red-eyed male seemed angrier. Another hand reaches into your hair, grabbing the strands tightly and forcing you to look at Abel.
"It. Doesn't. Matter. Does it, Damien?"
The glance at the knight even makes you shiver, and Abel feels it through his palm, a smirk covering his face. Damien's hand reaches to you too, his thin fingers wrapping very softly across the back of your neck, the tips of his fingers digging into the sides of your esophagus as he slowly starts to tighten his grip.
"Abel's right, sir. It really doesn't matter where he is. Now, you'll listen to us, get up for dinner, Abel will help dress you, and I'll protect you the entire time."
"Yeah... okay."
You didn't want to agree but you knew how strong Damien was, he could probably crush your neck without much more strength, and Abel was keeping you from backing away.
You gasp once your neck is released, a soft smile reaches their faces, and though you could always fire them you didn't really want to. You haven't ever seen Abel before and you don't think you will again, even if you would be reincarnated some things change. Once Damien had black hair, Medea was a male once, and once the Golden Kingdom was called the Bronze Kingdom.
You didn't want those pretty eyes to go to waste and you're pretty sure they would kill you if you attempted to get rid of them.
"What do you think you're doing?!"
"I can't help it, he's like a doll! Perfect to dress up and down! I-!"
"Shut it! Gods, I knew I shouldn't have hired you!"
"Hey! I got you his hair, didn't I?"
Your cousin wasn't joining you for dinner, neither was Reaven or Abel. Just Damien.
He sat next to you, watching as you cut and eat your food, his eyes digging into your skin as you chew slowly. He didn't usually act like this, did he? Did you miss the way his eyes stayed trained on your body, the way he would smile when you'd do something he told you to do? He might've always been in love with you but this time it seems more... scary.
"Sir, I'm sorry if Abel frightened you earlier. He shouldn't have held you so roughly, you didn't do anything to deserve it. Punishments should only be given out when you misbehave."
"Wha... what?"
You turn to him, his eyes staring into yours and though his eyes weren't as enchanting as a certain red pair, they still kept your attention until he motioned for you to keep eating. You shrug and finish the meal laid out in front of you, it tasted good so why not?
"See? You're so well behaved, you should get a reward."
Maybe you should fire Damien.
Just maybe.
"So, you say that if I add his hair to a potion... it'll make me look like him?"
"Yes ma'am! Though I would advise against the original plan you had, it appears like you need to advance your relationships before trying for an ending."
"Fine, but only because I finally want to finish this."
