The dragon helped her with its tale to reach the top of the stairs and as he stretched finally free. It really looked like a giant cat and Gwen was so grateful that she didn't kill him. It would be a crime against nature to end such marvel.

"Thank you, my queen." Oh right, he could read her mind. She swore the dragon smiled at her but there was little light so she wasn't sure.

"Your king is waiting for you." Gwen enlightened the exit with the blue torch before returning to the animal.
"May I ask what your name is, my friend?"

"Atlas." Gwen smiled and she curtsied to him elegantly. She felt so much better, physically and mentally. Whatever the dragon had done, had started a healing process deep within her and she was thankful.

She got closer the tunnel but then stopped and was undecided if she dared to ask or not the question that was floating in her mind.

"The prophecy can still happen. You'll need to make a choice and when you do, it could break it or make it happen. It is only up to you." She gulped and thanked the dragon before exiting eventually.

She crawled out of the tunnel and into the water. When she surfaced, she swam to the shore and got out right in time for the hoofs to echoed into the forest, followed by Arthur and his Royal guard. He didn't wait for the horse to stop as he jumped off and with large paces, reached Gwen.

"You are out of your mind!" he screamed as he moved closer. attempting to grab her arms and she dodged him. He looked at her and she returned the glare. For the first time after almost almost week, Gwen returned to stare at him as she used to do.

"What are you doing here alone? Do you think it wise? I mean, I had to split my men to come and look for you." Gwen was calm, unusually still for herself, she felt like she had all the time in the world and so she faced him. Arthur stepped back startled by Gwen's eyes. He didn't recognize them anymore, they look like golden metal being liquefied. He stared and stared to her to see if something was out of place but she looked normal, she looked fine.

"We're going to war." Declared Gwen as she eyed the knights and then Arthur. He was bewildered.

"War?"

"Yes. You were right, my brother has done whatever he pleased with us and I'm tired of letting innocents die. We are going to repay him for every life he has taken."

Arthur was confused. She didn't look nothing like the Gwen he had married. She seemed to have returned to the same warrior state of when they met the first time and it was scaring him to think that all his progress were vein.

He didn't dare to touch her. She looked out of this world.

"Emrys!" she murmured and yet the trees shook as in perpetrating her calling.

"You can ride with me, Gwen. He's probably tied up and cannot free himself. Let alone, he will not hear you this far." she completely ignored him as if she didn't hear him.

"I have news we need to discuss. And there is a lot to plan. We cannot lose time." Arthur took a look around and his knights were as startled as he was so much that when Gwen turned to look at them, they winched fleably.

"Percy, go back and start reuniting the army. I'm going to need any men willing to fight or able. Do not force the war on them. Accept only those who offer." She ordered and Percy, being the good knight he was, nodded as he turned the horse and rode toward Camelot.

She was talking to the knights, giving directions and Arthur was just there staring at her feeling like he did not matter. He was worrying sick about her, yet here she was, acting like nothing mattered beside revenge.
