Chapter 154: Diabolos Cult

At this very moment inside the suspicious looking dark room the leader of the Diabolos cult is currently discussing something among their higher up regarding on what they should do in the current situation

"The situation in the Kingdom of Avalon is quite hectic, the guards are everywhere and every corner of the kingdom... looks like the incident that happened the other night must have really provoked their pride and reputation for them to suddenly tighten their security"

"Nevertheless they connected such an attack as something related to us and our cause"

"Buts is it really the doing of one of our men?"

"Thats absolutely bullshit! None of our members had ever reach out towards the capital city of the Kingdom of Avalon without our permission, and plus if anyone of them dares to disobey our command, then our spies would've have seen them in action, unfortunately that wasn't the case"

"If we have no other choice, then we would have to advance our plan and reclaim our glory much earlier than expected, after all we did stayed silent for quite a long time already"

"Notify our men in every corner of the kingdom, prepare the necessary procedure to ensure the success of our cause, and call every people we had under our rule towards the capital... we are going to go all out if we plan to take down the throne that once dethroned us, its our turn to make them know fear of messing against us"

Hearing his words, every members in the room then suddenly lighted up in vigor as they replied happily under his command and begun informing their forces of their plans and action towards their members

As every higher ups in the room begun leaving the vicinity one after the another to accomplish what was commanded of them, one particular higher up who had spoken towards Adelfried a few moments ago then came in closer towards him and asked

"Are you sure of your decision? Is there no other way?"

At that Adelfried then glanced at the person who asked him and answered back with a question of his own

"Why? Are you afraid of the kingdom?"

"I'm not afraid of the kingdom itself, I'm just afraid of losing, thats why my planned preparation is truly difficult and intricate to some people of lower knowledge... i did once said that I hate fighting a losing battle"

"Indeed! You did have once told me of such wording, I haven't forgotten about what you said at all Asmodeus" replied Adelfried

"If that is the case then you better keep that wording in mind, you just gotta remember that your the brawns of this cult while I'm it's brains, even thought your much stronger than me, you can never outsmart me" said Asmodeus

"Is that some kind of a challenge I hear coming from you?" Asks Adelfried

"Oh please! Cut the crap! I can literally think out a 100 ways to kill you right now" replied Asmodeus

"If that was the case then why did you even ask for my opinion about a decision a few minutes ago?" Asks Adelfried

"It's because your the leader of this cult while I'm not, aside from my authority, yours has a much more leading charisma on it, completely different from me who is all brains and few brawns" said Asmodeus

"But despite that, you can still find ways to get rid off me... just wow! Anyway since the situation have changed all we have to do is to adapt to the current situation, we need something that would make the Kingdom's forces be caught in surprise cause of our sudden entrance, because by doing such a thing they would then literally be late to react to the chaos that we will make even if for a second" said Adelfried

"If that is the case then we would then have to make a huge diversion quite faraway from the royal castle to make them think that it is a major attack from somebody, by doing that they would have to thin out the people guarding the royal family in order to check on the situation, when that happens, we would then initiate an attack from all four side on the kingdom to further thin out their defenses causing confusion, and after thinning out the royal guards up to 30%, that would be the cue for us to directly attack the royalty and take over the castle" suggested Asmodeus

"But that would only put us on a dead end" said Adelfried

"Well after we kill all the royalty, the only option we have to be able to escape safely is through the skies, since land and sea is out of the option, alongside that plan, it would be quite more beneficial for us if we steal their national treasure containing a lot of magical energy right?" asks Asmodeus

"Indeed! then we would need to divide our forces into two, I'll take in charge of charging the royal castle, while you take care of stealing the national treasure" suggested Adelfried

"That would be quite alright!"

In that moment two people from the Diabolos cult then begun preparing for their operation which would claim numerous lives in the process, In that beginning moment Shun would then come to know just how important are the national treasure of the kingdom which is regarded as a weapon of war
