Chapter 17: The Noble's Daughter

[Viscount Household]

When Shun Gratefully accepted the Viscounts request the latter immediately thanked him as he says

"Well if you wouldn't mind then... You can start tomorrow... Also by then you will meet with your other co-workers who accepted my request followed by the introduction of my daughter" said Viscount Zack

"Great! Don't worry sire! I'll make sure that your daughter's coming of age ceremony will be a success"assured shun as he patted his chest

After that Shun, Lana, and Shyvana walked out of the Viscounts Household and when they were at the entrance of the it's gates Shun spoke up to Lana

"Hey do you have something like mini communication crystal that we can use?" Asks Shun

"Maybe... Why do you ask?" Asks back Lana in confusion

"Well I've got an idea" stated Shun

Hearing him Lana gave Shun a wry smile as she said

"Your clearly planning something...." She claimed

In reply to that Shun himself just smiled at her as if he was hiding a secret, by that time a spatial tear appear in front of them followed by a book and a cat coming out of the tear

"I'm back!!!" Announced Yuumi loudly

Upon seeing her both Lana and Shun were stunned for a bit while Shyvana looked indifferently at Yuumi

"What's with this lack of response?" Asks Yuumi

At that question both Lana and Shun snapped out of their shock and confronted Yuumi

"Yuumi! You're back!!! That's great" said Shun

When Yuumi examined Shun's reply she involuntarily glanced at Shyvana and deducted

"Something happened right?" She asks as she lifted one of her eyebrows

When Shun heard her he instantly remembered the night when both Shun and Shyvana were sleeping in the same room thus making him a little bit anxious over it

"What are you talking about... Ahahahahahah!" Laughed aside Shun as he directed his sight elsewhere

Seeing this reaction Yuumi deducted again

"Yup! Something happened"

After that Yuumi didn't give the matter a thought any longer as she just goes along with the flow

Followed by Yuumi also didn't reject Shyvana when she insisted to stay for a bit longer thus making it the three of them sleeping in the room together

While for Lana she returned to the guild for she still had things to attend to over there

~next day~

At the next day Shun went to the Viscount household alone with Yuumi and Shyvana tagging along after they retrieved the communication crystal from Lana upon Shun's request

When they arrived they were immediately allowed by the guard to enter and head straight at the backyard where the meeting will occur

When he got there he saw many types of Adventurers taking up the job in all shape and sizes including ranks

Not long after he saw both Alex and Misha from afar and of course the latter saw shun himself making them wave they're hands to get Shun's attention

"Big brother Shun why are you here?" Asks Alex

"I'm here because of the quest!" Answered Shun

"Really that's great!... then we can team up with you for this quest" exclaimed Alex

"S..sure" stuttered Shun

Seeing Shun's reaction Yuumi commented

"You stuttered didn't you?" She asks in doubt

"Huh? No I did not" denied Shun

"No you clearly stuttered" stated Yuumi

"No.. I.. did.. not" emphasizes Shun

"He stuttered" stated Shyvana flatly

"Yeah he clearly stuttered" supported Yuumi

"Huh! Why are you guys picking on me?" Complained Shun

"Because you stuttered" replied both Yuumi and Shyvana simultaneously

Seeing this comedic exchange Alex couldn't help himself but laugh involuntarily while as for Misha she clearly approached Yuumi from the side

"Yuumi! I'm glad your okay" exclaimed Misha

"Ah... Little one... I'm glad someone cares for my well being unlike the other one" stated Yuumi while glancing at Shun

In response to this Shun looked back at Yuumi in confusion

"Huh? Did you say something?" He asks

Hearing this Yuumi just sigh in the end

At that Yuumi talked to Misha for a while about some other things while binding to her

After some time has passed the Viscount finally arrived together with a small group which seems to be his daughter

Upon their arrival he greeted the Adventurers who accepted his request followed by introducing to them his daughter

"Greetings everyone!!! Again I'm Viscount Zack and this is my daughter Millia who will be the one in the limelight of the party for coming of age ceremony" he announced

As he introduced her the surrounding Adventurers greeted back

"The day after tomorrow night will be her schedule of the party... I request of you to be at least act out as the guards to secure the party... And for reasons... I can't tell you but of of course you can trust me that it's not something major" assured Viscount Zack

"At that I'm expecting great things from you guys" said Viscount Zack as he bowed followed by her daughter also bowing down to them

Seeing this the Adventurers felt grateful and proceeded to prepare for the party's security

"Nobles really gives their all for their sons and daughters coming of age ceremony" commented Alex

"Well for nobles... Having social image is important so they often host parties to improve their image to the public" explained Yuumi

"Wow you know a lot" praised Shun

"Well of course there are a lot of nobles in runeterra" claimed Yuumi

Hearing this Misha became curious

"Runeterra? Where's that? Is it far away?" Asks Misha

"Well it is far away" assured Yuumi

"Yeah! Really far away... It's dangerous...you could die" stated Shun

Hearing that gave Shun a head slap making the latter confuse of Yuumi's actions

With that they prepared for the upcoming party until the sun went down

When they were about to part ways with both Alex and Misha, the latter suddenly asked him

"So what do you think will happen in the party?" Asks Misha and Alex

In reply to this Shun gave the both of them a smile while saying

"Hehehe! Something great will happen" he replied

And thus the night of the party came just like that

As the lights illuminated the dark and nobles with different statuses arrives, Shun from the side smiled widely as he said

"Let the party begin"
