At the crack of dawn, Eden woke up. She wanted to spend every last second she had left with her dad, awake.
They snuggled in bed, listening to the sound of the rain, talking about anything and everything.
These where the moments Robert cherished most.
Before parting ways he gifted her with a beautiful gold necklace, with her name on it. "There you go princess, now everyone will know your name" he joked silly. "Everyone will know my name one day daddy! I'm going to be famous." Robert chuckled. "Eden, your already famous?"
"You know what I mean" I rolled my eyes, grinning when he struggled to answer.
"Oh you cheeky monkey!" he gasped, beginning a tickling war.

They arrived to the studio with seconds to spare. Eden eyes were still puffy from the tears she had shed.
She was the last to enter studio A, swiftly followed by her mom.
"The showcase... was amazing. I had people come up and congratulate me on my talented students all weekend. " Abby grinned, clapping along with the moms
"Moving on, I wanna talk about this upcoming weekend, it's regional's. Everybody knows how important that is. "Abby's says, making eye contact with all the girls.
"We're going to Starpower, You know that's one of the toughest competitions out there. This is what's gonna happen this weekend. Eden your going to do a new solo. Maddie new solo. Chloe new solo. Brooke new solo. Eden and Maddie new duet." Abby tells the girls.
"Now the age categories are a little different, so we want to make sure that your dance reflect you as a dancer now and not at the beginning of the season."Abby exclaimed, staring straight at Maddie and Eden.
"We are doing a new group dance. It's called ' Where have all the children gone?'. This is a routine about the children who have gone missing. You've all seen the pictures of children's faces on the milk carton. It's a contemporary piece, it's mature and its very dark. You have to be great actresses to pull it off," Abby says.
Turning towards the moms. "They're in all white costumes like Angels. I don't want any discrepancies. I don't want any opinions. Moms I'm gonna go ahead and dismiss you now, we have a lot of work to do." Clapping her hands, she tells the girls to begin stretching.
"You guys are sending message, the concept of this dance is kids that have gone missing. I've put a little edge to it like kids have committed suicide, so you need to be able to act and still dance. You need to interpret the stories correctly. This is a very serious topic because somebody in the audience might have had a child gone missing. So you have to perform and not just go through the dance. Okay?" Abby asks
"Yes" we answer.
Abby begins to teach the girls the routine. Brooke was the lead of the dance.
An hour later, Abby begins to teach Maddie her solo. So, I walk to Studio B to start mine.
"You're solo is called "Rule the World", its a dark and mystery piece. You need to use your face more for this dance. This is nationals. You've always won at nationals, that's not going to change now. Understood?" mam asks.
"Yes, I'm ready".
"Good! Let's begin."
An hour and half had passed, and my routine was finished. It was different and I loved it.
Definitely a winning number.
"Alright! your finished. Very good job! You've come along way from the start of the season" Angelina said hugging a sweaty Eden.
