"Hi Ms.J" Jacob greeted as he entered the blindingly white kitchen.
"Good morning Jacob! What you doing here so early" she smiled, before continuing to make the pancake mix.
"Wanted to see Eden before I went to school... I haven't seen her since dinner" he replied, stealing a strawberry Angelina had yet to cut up.
"Jacob, that dinner was last night" she deadpanned, handing him another strawberry.
"Thanks" he mumbled eating the other strawberry. "Yeh, I know! but she said she wanted to show me something as well?"
"Oh yes!" Angelina grinned knowing exactly what Eden was talking about. "Well go on... she's in the class room. Tell Sarah that Eden can have a 15 minute break, then you have to go to school. Okay?"
"Thanks! Ms.J" he shouted running off to friend his barbie.
Angelina chuckled before continuing to cook the crépes, the sound of Jacob screeching 'Barbie' at the top of his voice would be hard to miss.
Upstairs Eden sighed in annoyance it didn't matter how many times she tried to say the sentence, she just couldn't pronounce it. The Chinese language was defiantly getting the best of Eden.
But before Sarah could help her with the pronunciation, Jacob's yells disturbed the tranquil classroom atmosphere.
Turning in sync their gaze fell on the ever growing twelve year old, who had flung the door open without a second thought.
"Eden" he sang "Your mom said you have 15 minutes break!" he cheered, pulling the stunned girl off her seat.
Before either Sarah of Eden could question him, he was already existing the room.
"Jake! What are you doing?" she questioned, finally coming to her senses.
"You said you wanted to show me something last night at dinner, so I got up early to come over here before school" he responded slowly like he was talking to a baby.
Opening and closing her mouth Eden decided not to retaliate, "Come on then!" she said, her excitement growing.
"Mam had it done while I was away working! It's amazing!" she rambled, still not enclosing any specific details.
Pausing outside a room on the basement floor, beside the dance studio Eden unlocked the door.
Gasping in awe, Jacob studied the newly furnished Recording studio slash music room.
"It's beautiful!!" he whispered, his gaze falling on a magnificent black piano in the corner of the room.
"Isn't it!! Mam and Dad decided to get it done seeing as I've started to write some music! Now I can practice my music daily!" she rambled her excitement taking over.
"This is sooo cool! You have the best parents ever!" he replied, his eyes still trying to take in everything in.
"Well your always welcome, I know you love music too. Your mom showed me the videos of you playing your own concerts when you were a baby" she giggled, finally snapping Jacob out of his stupor.
"She What!! When?!" he whispered horrified.
" On many occasions, it's her favorite topic"
He huffed, before shaking his head. Pulling Eden down beside him, he asked her to play him a tune.
"Come on Ms.Prodigy, play me your best piece"
"Mmmh okay but you can't make fun of me if I mess up" she sighed, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear.
