"Eden sweetie! Jacobs here" mom shouted up to me.
Looking over to my aunt for permission, she gives me a nod. "Go on! your done for the day anyway. I'll write down your homework that I want done for tomorrow. Okay?"
"Okay, thanks! Today's lesson was fun! " I cheer, running out the door.
"Barbie!" Jacob grinned when I came into view.
"Hi, Jacob" I smiled. "What are you doing here?" I question, tilting my head in confusion.
"What?! I can't come over to spend time with my favorite flower?" He said in mock outrage.
Rolling my eyes, I huff waiting for a proper answer.
"Well I had a dentist appointment and dad said I didn't have to go back to school, so now I'm here" he shrugged.
"Your lucky I don't have my singing lesson today" I said, motioning him to join me upstairs.
"So what do you want to do? I'm staying here until you have dance" he declared, leaving no room for argument.
"Um? we can watch a movie, I guess?"
"Aww! I thought we could paint each others nails! Pillow fight?" he mock pouted, fluttering his eyelashes
"Your so annoying! now pick a movie" I said shouldering past him and climbing into my bed.
"Jeez Barbie! you shouldn't treat your future husband like that" putting his hand over his heart.
"Your twelve and I'm nine! we are not getting married." I huffed, it not being the first time we had this conversation.
"Yeh ,yeh Obviously" he said rolling his eyes. "I mean in the future, we're already half way there."
"What? " I asked sitting up.
"Well we already kissed, twice. That means in the future we will get married." he smirked.
"That can't be true! So what happened if I kissed a different boy?"
"It is! and it's the first boy you kiss" he stated firmly, finally choosing a film to watch.

"Hello girls, moms" Abby greeted.
"Now, we have lots to go over. It's gonna be a busy, busy, busy week here. No coming late, no leaving early. Now... Texas. We had all these plans made to go to New Jersey. And then, at the last minute we had to completely flip it. There's a lot of dance companies in this country that would have said 'Fine. We're not going'. But we didn't, we went and some great things happened, and some really bad things happened."
I look to Ms.Abby in confusion, wondering what drama happened in Texas.
"This week, we're going to Hollywood Vibe right here in Pittsburgh" this earned cheers and claps from the girls.
"I want to see 100% from every single one of you. Remember, we're in our backyard. You have a target on your back. So do I. The group number is called 'Private Eyes. I'm Gonna arm you with a secret weapon. You're going to be using guns in your routine".
Flickering my eyes over to the moms, they didn't look pleased with this idea.
"When you step on that stage, I want you to kill it. Understood? You're gonna blow the competition away. Now we're going to move onto the pyramid."
"At the bottom is.. Mackenzie, you went from first to not placing in one routine. You always have to keep working. Nia, you had a pretty dance. I thought you did well, no problem."
