Eden had woken up in a bad mood and nothing her Aunt Sarah tried could fix it.
Eden herself didn't know what was wrong but she could feel something was amiss.
Getting through homeschooling was a struggle, so Sarah had decide to concentrate on Eden's favorite subject. But even math's didn't improve her mood.
"Eden hunny, if you don't feel good you can take the day off dance? and we could go do something together" she suggested.
"No I can't, it's pyramid day. I have to be there." she mumbled, her eyes tearing up with reasons unbeknownst to her.
"Well how about we make a quick phone call to your mom or dad before dance? "
" No! why do I always have to call them. Why can't they remember to call me" Eden said, running to her room.
Sarah sighed feeling like this could be the root to her bad mood. She knew Eden didn't like being separated from her dad, but now her mom too. She would have to inform Ms.Abby to keep an eye on her at dance.

When they arrive at dance, Eden had calmed down but had refused to talk about the subject any further.
"Let's go! Come on, girls! Let's go!"
"I want to start off talking about last weeks competition. We won first place, obviously cute still works in Carolina. Kendall! you did your solo looking scared to death. That is not the face of an Abby Lee Miller dancer, that's for certain."
"Well Abby that was her first time" Jill defends.
"Shh! You don't get to talk. It's my turn" Abby retorted.
"This weekend, we are headed to Columbus, Ohio and You know who lives in Ohio."
"Oh no!" I mumble as Chloe cheers waving her hands in the air.
I don't know why she was so excited, it just meant more drama and less focus on dance this week.
"We are going there and she will be at the competition. I don't want any squawking between the mothers. You are all on the same team, and we're all gonna take a bite out of that apple". Abby said looking directly at us.
"Now, the pyramid. On the bottom.. Kendall, you are on probation. That means I'm watching you like a hawk. Do you understand me?" Kendall nods.
"Next, Mackenzie, I keep giving you little parts. Your dancing is not up where the rest of the girls are. Moving on, Brooke, you knew the number but the crying and the hysteria that's not a young adult. Paige, you did a good job this weekend. Then on the way home, we told you to sit down thirty-two times. I counted".
"Every single one of them was playing on the bus" Kelly defends.
"It doesn't make it right! and as a matter of fact Eden wasn't. Every time I looked down she was reading or being productive."
I inhaled sharply, looking down. I hated when Ms.Abby used me as an example. I waited for Kelly response but thankfully it never came.
Ms.Abby turns back to the pyramid.
"Nia, same spot from last week. Next, we have Chloe. Chloe you did a great job. Maddie, you also did a great job but I've seen you dance better. And on top of the pyramid Eden-Rose. Brilliant performance, you had me crying" Abby announces proudly.
"I had so many people come up to me saying how you were a talented little girl! You are one of the youngest here and have the most titles under your belt and experience. Continue on this path and no one will be able to beat you!"
