(y/n) POV:
I stir around moving against the soft warm fur. Wait! Fur. I run my hand over it again and spring up out of the bed tripping over my own feet and falling on my bum. "About time you woke up." I look over to where the voice came from to see Peter...With no shirt on. "What am I doing here?" I ask staying on the ground. "I wanted you here." He says sounding as if I should have known that answer."Why?" I ask again. "No more questions. Now come here I want to clean up that gash you have on the back of your head." He says helping me up bringing me to the bed and sitting behind me. "This might sting." He says softly in my ear making me shiver. Seconds later I feel a deep sting. "How'd you end up like this huh?" He asks "I got an ass whooping from Snow White." I say laughing. "Wow. What an achievement." He jokes.
Peter takes my hair over to one side and comes closer to me I can feel his hot breath on my neck making me stiff. He places his lips where my shoulder and neck meet and kisses it slowly. He continues till he gets to my jaw putting his fingers under my chin and turning my face towards him. "My little lost girl why did you leave and never come back?" He asks stroking my face looking between my eye and my lips.
"Because I couldn't. Every time I tried something would block me. It wouldn't let me come back." I say to him. "Stay in here, don't come out." He says and removes himself from me going out of the room. Ugh! What's wrong with me? He's like a drug. He's so bad for me but I just can't stop.
Peter Pan POV:
I knew it. She couldn't come back to the island for the loss because she wasn't lost anymore. The last night she was here was the best of them all. As much as I hate to admit it I have a heart and with her around it's not as dark. She's the light in my dark life. The only thing that brings me pure joy."Cuckoo! Wake up. Catch." I say to Henry tossing him an apple. "I don't like apples." He replies. "Who doesn't like apples?" I say looking at him. "It's a family thing." He replies. "(y/n) likes them just fine," I smirk. "How do you know her?" He questions. "Anyways the apples aren't for eating it's for a game, a really fun game. I call it target practice." I say kneeling and pointing the arrow at him.
I dip the arrowhead in the bottle as Henry walks up. "What's that?" He asks. "Dreamshade. It's a nasty poison. We have a story here about a man who shot an apple off his son's head with an arrow. Let's find out if it's possible." I say loading the arrow. "If you're shooting at the apple, what's the poison for?" He asks. "Motivation not to miss. Felix! Get over here!" I call for my right-hand man.
"Is Felix good? Is his aim good?" he asks. "Doesn't matter. You're the one doing the shooting." I say and hand the gun over to him. "But I-I don't want to shoot." He says scared. I toss the apple to Felix as the boy starts to cheer. "Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! Shoot!" "You won't hit him," I say over the boys. "Trust yourself go on. It's exhilarating." I lift my hand and the boys instantly quiet down.
Henry aims at the apple but at the last second turns to me and shoots. I catch the arrow centimeters before my chest. "Told you it was exhilarating. Come on. I have something to show you." I say and pull Henry over to a log to sit down. "Look at the fun they're having. The thing about this place Henry is no one ever tells you no. You can do whatever you want." I say looking around my beautiful island. "They never hurt themselves?" Henry asks looking at me. "All the time. At one point I had 4 boys missing fingers. Cost of the game, they didn't mind." I say to him.
"I don't belong here." He says. "Actually you do. We've been waiting for you a very long time Henry, long before you were even born." I say to him. "I don't believe that." He says shaking his head. I huff. "You should. This place runs on imagination, on belief. But your world stopped believing. Magic is dying, and you Henry, need to save it. You need to bring it back. That's your destiny. Return the magic, to be the savior." I tell him.
"My mom, Emma, is the savior, not me." He says. "Yeah, she broke some curse, yeah. Oh, I know more than you think. But what if breaking the curse wasn't the thing that made her the savior? What if having you was? Think about it. You're descended from the greatest of light and of the dark. What, you think it's a coincidence that the spawn of the dark one met your mother? You were created for a reason, and I can help you find it." I say, explaining how special he is.
"So you think I'm supposed to save magic." He says. "I don't think. I believe. Remember I, uh, said I had something to show you." I pull out the little folder peace of parchment. "Here. I've had this for a very long time, long before you were even thought of. Take a look and you'll know why I'm so sure you're the hero magic has been waiting for." He takes the paper and I stand up to go back to my tent. "I don't believe you," he says from behind me. "You remind me of your father," I say and walk away.
