Chapter 1- An Alice?

I won't help you, so you might as well kill me!" I hear a man's voice call out. "What the hell is going on? I'm trying to sleep!" I think as I slowly uncover myself with the blanket that I required sometime yesterday and slip out of my safe place to see 3 men gang up on 1 other guy, who had blond hair and looked severely injured. "This has nothing to do with me." I think, but then something inside of me began to beg me to help this man. "Ugh, fine... I guess it can be my good deed of the day." I think as I get closer and glare over in the direction of the 3 men causing them to stop in their tracks.

"What the hell!?" Man 1 exclaims.

"I can't move!" Man 2 bellows.

"Me either!" Man 3 declares as I begin to laugh, while getting in front of the blonde guy that was unconscious.

"3 men had to band together to take out one guy? I ask and they all glare down at me.

"You have no idea, who your dealing with little girl!" Man 2 threatens causing me to grin.

"She must be an Alice, that's come to save her teacher." Man 1 states as my eyes widen. "Alice... I feel like I've heard that word before, but when?" I wonder, but a grin appears on my lips.

"Night, night." I declare as the 2 of the guys begin to drop to the ground. Going to turn to the last guy standing I hear a load noise ring out as I see the last guy had a gun and pulled the trigger before he fell to the ground.  "Damn it!" I think as I begin to feel pain in my side causing me to look down to see blood begin to seep out from the graze. A groan sounds causing me to look over to see the blonde guy sit up. "Get out of here!" I demand as I go to walk away.

"Please let me repay you." The man requests as I feel a force grab a hold of my hand causing me to quickly glare down at the man, who had a beauty mark under his eyes and very unique and mysterious purple eyes.

"Don't touch me!" I bellow, while retracting my hand from him, but then feel pain come from my injury. "Damn, is it bad?" I wonder as I look down at what I thought was a scrape begin to bleed.

"You're injured-"

"You're noisy." I declare as I interrupt the man as I go to walk away, but then my vision goes blurry.

"Missy!" The man calls out as everything goes black.

(Time skip)

Opening my eyes to see a white ceiling and stared up at it for a moment. "Did I die?" I wonder as I look over to be met by a pair of dark red eyes. "Who is this?" I wonder as the boy turns away from me with an annoyed expression.

"She's awake, perverted Teacher!" The boy calls out causing my eyes to shift over to the door to see the blonde guy, who's smiling.

"Where the hell is this?!" I exclaims, while quickly sitting up causing the side of my stomach to scream out in pain. "Oh yeah, I was shot." I think as I look down to see my raggedy clothes I was wearing were replaced with a new looking blue outfit.

"Little Missy, you shouldn't move around like that, you'll tear you're stitches." The man explains causing me to glare up at him.

"Stitches?" I ask and he nods.

"Yes, the Bullet that grazed you pretty deeply so you needed stitches, but it was also laced with a poison. If you had left it like that the poison would have eventually killed you." The man answers and I scoffed. "Would have been better than that pitiful life I was living..." I think, but glance over to the boy who had been quiet.

"What are you looking at?" The boy asks glaring at me, but I glare back at him.

"None of your damn business, anyways where is this?!" I exclaim causing the man to clear his throat.

"We are in a Hospital on the Academy grounds." The man declare causing my eyes to shift over at him.

"Academy... Why would you bring me here?" I question with an annoyed expression.

"This is Alice Academy, I brought you here because you posses an Alice, Little Missy." The man answers, while pointing at me. "Alice, that word again." I think as I grip the blanket.

"Would somebody tell me what the fuck an Alice is?!" I exclaim.

"You really don't know?" The boy scoffs. "How the hell am I supposed to know what it is?!" I think glaring glare at the boy.

"There's no need to be rude, Hyuga. Little Missy an Alice is a power some people in this world posses and this Academy is to teach and protect those people." The man explains.

"So what's you're Alice, Blondie?" I ask as a pink aura then emits from his body.

"My Alice is the Pheromone Alice and my name is Narumi not Blondie." Narumi answers and I then look over at the boy.

"I'm Kazume Hyuga, I have the Nullification and Fire Alice. This pervert is a teacher and I'm an Elementary student here." Kazume states. "Nullification and Pheromone, what is that?" I wonder as I put on a confused expression.

"Little Missy, mine is a bit difficult to explain however Nullification means most powers don't have an effect on him. Could you explain you're Alice?" Narumi asks causing me to look away. "Should I really reveal that to these people?" I wonder for a moment, but then let out a sigh.

"My name's Tsubaki not Little Missy... Blood Manipulation, I can control others and my own." I declare.

"So the three men before you controlled them by their blood, is there certain things you can do with the blood?" Narumi asks causing me to glance over at him.

"I can form the blood into weapons or objects, but blood is still blood so if I create or control more than 3 things it my Alice becomes unstable and distance form the person I'm trying to control is another issue." I explain, but they go silent. "I shouldn't tell them anymore, I still don't trust these people." I think as Kazume and my eyes meet.

"You don't have a last name?" Kazume ask breaking the silence.

"No, I don't." I answer as I look away from him. "Maybe I did once a long time ago..." I think tightening my grip on the blanket.

"Do you know your age?" Narumi questions causing me to hold up my fingers and begin to count.

"I think I'm 11." I respond, but then Kazume begins chuckling. "What so funny?!" I exclaims, which only causing him to laugh outload.

"You'll be placed in the Elementary division..." Narumi trails off causing me to look over at me.

"As if I'm not staying here." I declare causing Kazume to turn to me.

"Now that you're here you don't have a choice." Kazume insists as I glare at him.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"As long as you're an Alice you can't leave here." Kazume answers and my eyes widen as I turn to Narumi.

"You're not allowed to leave here till you reach adulthood, but it's not as bad as he makes it sound. You won't be on the streets anymore you'll have you're own room, won't go hungry and be going to School." Narumi explains and I roll my eyes. "It sounds like a pipe dream, but I guess anything better than being on the streets..." I think as I then let out a sigh.

"My mission is complete so I'm leaving." Kazume declare sounding a bit bored, while walking over to the door. "What does he mean by mission?" I wonder as he closes the door behind him.

"For now you just need to stay here and worry about you're wound healing well I get your admission settled." Narumi advices causing me to look over at him.

Fine." I state as I lay back down causing Narumi to giggle a bit.

"Get some rest, Tsubaki. I'll be back later to check on you." Narumi insists as I scoff causing him to walk out of the room and I stare up at the white ceiling.

"Can I really trust this?" I ask.
