Chapter 22 Stupid Girl?

"Kaz-" I was interrupted as I glance back, but my vision was obscured by something dark.

"Get lost!" The same familiar voice rings out causing me to lift up my head causing the dark jacket to fall down to my wet shoulders. "My nickname he gave me." I think as I look over to see the boy with red eyes glaring over at Tenko, who was wearing an annoyed expression.

"Wow, you really got him wrapped around you're fingers..." Tenko trails off causing me to glare over at her.

"Slut!" Maki's voice rang out causing me to look over only to see something falling towards me. "Shit!" I think as I instinctively close my eyes. Suddenly, two gasps ring out in unison causing me to slowly open my eyes to see the boy holding the bucket Maki once had in her hands standing in front of me.

"How did you-"

"Leave!" The boys voice boomed, interrupting Tenko, but she only scoffs.

"Or what?" Tenko asks, but then right before our eyes the bucket was set ablaze causing screams to sound out and I see Tenko back up with a scared expression.

"Freaks!" Tenko cries out as she then turns and runs away. "So, it really is you..." I think as I stared at what was left of the bucket on the ground next to the Fire User.

"Kazume, Hyuga." I whisper as I stand up causing him to turn to me with an annoyed expression.

"Are you really that Stupid Girl?" Kazume questions causing me to knit my brows.

"What do you mean?" I ask causing him to glare up at me.

"The Stupid Girl I knew would never let people, like those two to walk over you!" Kazume bellows causing me to scoff.

"People change, Kazume!" I shout, but that makes him walk towards me causing us both to glare at each other in a moment of silence.

"Why are you not at Alice Academy?" I question causing him to roll his eyes and walk passed me.

"It's obvious." Kazume answers causing me to quickly turn to see him walking.

"I can't return." I state causing Kazume to stop in his tracks.

"Doesn't matter to me." Kazume declares as he turns back to me, which makes me put on a confused expression.

"I made a promise and I intend to keep it." Kazume insists as he turns causing me to rush after him.

"What kind of promise and to who?!" I exclaim, but he shakes his head slightly.

"Not telling..." Kazume trails off as we continue to walk, but no matter how much I ask he wouldn't tell me about the promise or who he made it with. Suddenly, Kazume stops and turns to me with an amused expression causing me to stop as well.

"Fine, I'll tell you for a price." Kazume smirked causing me to stare at him in disbelief.

"I'm kinda broke." I point out as I hold out my hands causing Kazume to grab one of my arms and pull me to him.

"It's not money I want." Kazume counters as he place his hand on my chin, while starring down at my lips causing my face to become completely red.

"Pervert!" I screams as I push him back.

"Tsubaki!?" A voice rings out as I hear the sound of a door open causing me to look over and see we're in front of my house. "How the hell did we end up here?!" I wonder as I quickly look over to see Kazume, who was beside me was gone.

"Where-"

"Are you okay?!" Mom exclaims as she rushes over to me with a worried expression, but I shake my head with a sigh.

"Yeah, sorry." I apologize as I walk passed her and into the house. "Where the hell did he go and how did he know where my house was?" I wonder as I begin making my way up the stairs.

"Tsubaki, you're uncle said he'll be a little late coming home so I'll make dinner for the two of us, okay?" Mom asks causing me to glance back at her.

"Okay." I nod with a smile, but then turn away and head up to my room.

"As plain as ever..." A familiar voice trails off causing my eyes to widen as I quickly shut my door, while seeing Kazume standing there looking in my top drawer that had my underwear and brawls in it.

"Get out of my stuff, Pervert!" I whisper scream as I quickly rush over and close it.

"or what?" Kazume questions as he looks down at me.

"What are you doing in here?" I ask causing him to fall onto my bed with a nonchalant expression.

"I need a place to crash obviously." Kazume answers causing me to tense up.

"Oh, no-"

"We can even share the bed if you want..." Kazume trails off causing me to kick up off the bed with an angry expression.

"Hell no!" I curse causing Kazume to get back up with a serious expression.

"Or I can just drag you back to the Academy." Kazume points out as his red eyes looked as if they were glowing with amusement. "Is he trying to get a rise out of me?!" I wonder as I glare back at him, but then point to the couch in the corner of my room.

"You can use that, but if I find you in my bed... I'll kill you." I threaten causing Kazume to grin as he walks over to the couch.

"Now that sounds like the Stupid Girl, I know." Kazume taunts causing me to roll my eyes. "Whatever, I have homework to do anyways." I think as I walk over to my desk and set my school bag on it. Sitting down in my chair, I begin doing my homework when a chuckle suddenly sounds out.

"If only those three could see you now. They'd think the world was ending..." Kazume trails off causing me to look over at them.

"H-how are they?" I question causing Kazume to look over at me with a softer expression then usual.

"They miss you. Even if they won't admit it, it's pretty noticeable." Kazume responds causing me to sigh.

"I'm sorry... I can't go back. I can't leave my Mom-" I was interrupted by a loud crashing sound

"Tsubaki!" Mom's voice rings out causing a feeling of anxiety to rush through me.
