Chapter 55

Seth's POV

That's one way to end a divas match I guess. Emilia surprisingly beat Stephanie, but she's paying for it now. Emilia is being held by Hunter as he holds her arms back. Stephanie is repeatedly slapping Emilia and kicking her. The crowd goes crazy and Stephanie raises her hands in the air before a hand grabs her arm and Stephanie stops suddenly. Standing behind from her is someone in a mask and a hoodie.

"Who the hell are you?" Stephanie asks the person as she turns around. Suddenly, the person takes off the mask and I smile slightly. Daniella stares Stephanie down before taking off the hoodie too. On her waist is the divas championship belt, except it's not at the same time. Instead of a butterfly design on the belt, it's now a crown with red and black coloring with some gold. All of a sudden, Daniella takes Stephanie down and delivers punches right and left. A scream escapes Daniella's lips as she stands up and walks around the ring for a little bit. She waits for Stephanie to get up, but Hunter stands in front of Daniella with a glare on his face.

Emilia suddenly comes up from behind Hunter and delivers a low blow. Once Stephanie stands up and turns to face them, a spinning heel kick is delivered by Emilia. Daniella picks her up slowly and then delivers her own tornado ddt. The crowd cheers as the two of them stand tall over Stephanie. I get up to head out to the ring for my tag team match. When I step into the hallway, some of the backstage workers stare and whisper amongst themselves.

Confusion washes over me and I look at every single one of them. They immediately look somewhere else just to avoid my gaze. Once I make it to the curtains, I see Renee interviewing Emilia and Daniella who was drinking a water. My music plays and I slowly make my way out and start getting focused. I have to win this tag team match for The Authority. Nothing can possibly ruin this.

Well, someone ruined my victory moment. Not shocked that Randy would make his return and try to attack me after the match. I just escaped thanks to J & J security taking one for the team. Now, I'm just trying to make sure Randy is nowhere near me or anyone who would tell him where I'm at. Calming down, I go to my locker room to start heading to the hotel. Luckily, most of the superstars and divas are in the catering area to watch the main event. Once I finally finish get to my car in the parking lot, I hear two voices behind me.

Daniella's POV

"You gotta admit, this new title looks total badass now that it doesn't have that stupid pink butterfly on it." I say trying to convince Emilia. She nods her head in agreement and keeps walking by me. We reach her car and start putting everything in the back when I look over and see Seth's car. I quickly look away and hop in the passenger seat. Emilia steps in and we start driving out of the parking lot.

"So what made you want to come back tonight?" Emilia asks.

"I wasn't going to just leave this place when I haven't even been here for more than a year. Besides, I saw you getting jumped after the match, so I had to step in and save my best friend." I say smiling. Emilia rolls her eyes and looks out the window. Her body language is tense and I know I struck a nerve with her.

"I didn't need your help out there Dani. I know you were trying to be a good friend, but I had it handled." Emilia sneers at me.

"You did before Hunter got involved and held your arms back. If I didn't step in and help you, you would've been on the floor passed out if she had used the pedigree on you." I snapped at her. We both glare at each other and the car ride is silent for once. The tension was thick as we pulled up into the hotel parking lot. Both of us silently got out of the car and checked into our separate hotel rooms. When I got my key, I quickly head up the stairs with my duffel bag on my shoulder. I have no idea why Emilia is so mad now and got took something I said wrong. She overreacted like always and is ignoring me. I take a break from walking and start jogging the rest of the way to the fifth floor.
