Chapter 40

Seth's POV

It was already Friday and no one has seen or heard from Daniella. I was backstage when I saw Kane talking to Hunter by catering. I knew I had to wait until Hunter left so I can ask - no, demand- Kane to tell me where Daniella is.

I walked up to them and put on a fake smile and stood by Hunter. They were talking about Daniella and how their planned worked perfectly. I bit my tongue and just commented on a few things.

"Well, I'll see you guys out there in 15 minutes." Hunter told us.

I turned to Kane and glared at him. I licked my lips and cleared my throat.

"Kane, where'd you take Daniella Monday?"

"Seth, as director of operations, I can't give out that information to just anyone. I can assure you though that she will be here tonight." Kane says.

I glare at him and stomp back to the locker room. If she isn't out there then I'm looking for her until the end of Smackdown.

The Authority was standing out in the ring. I looked around and noticed that Randy and Kane weren't out here yet. I knew they were up to something and I guess I was right.

The fire came on from around the ring and I turned to see Kane dragging Daniella. I took a step forward and my jaw dropped at the sight of her.

Daniella's POV

I struggled to get out of Kane's grip and he held on tighter. I looked at the ring and everyone was smiling in the ring, besides Seth.

"Get your hands off of me!" I screamed at Kane.

Kane dragged me ahead and pushed me into the ring. I looked at everyone in the ring and they smirked at me thinking they've won.

"Don't worry Daniella, we're not going to hurt you. We actually have a deal for you and you should hear it." Stephanie tells me.

"A deal? You've got to be kidding me." I tell her.

"Now listen, I've come up with this deal and everyone agreed to it. So the deal is, you join The Authority and we will stop messing with you."

"You want me to join The Authority? Ha. I think I'll pass on the great offer Steph." I say sarcastically.

I try stepping out of the way but Dean and Nikki step in the way. I raise an eyebrow and put a hand on my hip waiting for them to move.

"Stephanie, I told you she needed some persuasion. Since you didn't agree to that deal, how about we persuade you with this." Hunter motions to the ramp.

I look up and see Randy drag Roman out by his hair. I step forward to the ropes and cover my mouth. I could hear Hunter and Stephanie laughing from behind me and I snapped.

I turned around and speared Stephanie to the ground. I was on top of her and then she switched places and we kept at it. I felt someone pick me up and hold me back.

"No let me go!" I shouted.

"Daniella control yourself!" Hunter yelled at me.

Stephanie raised her hand at me and I ducked out of the way. I looked up and saw Hunter holding his cheek and Stephanie shocked at herself.

I took the opportunity to roll out if the ring and run to Roman who was at the barricade. I tried pulling Randy off of him but he pushed me away from him.

"Leave him alone Randy! He has nothing to do with all of this!" I yelled at him.

Randy picked Roman up and threw him into the steel steps. I looked around and saw someone drinking a soda.
