PLEASE READ MY OTHER STORY, MAGICALLY ROMANTIC.
"Annie Smith! Get your ass out of bed and stop feeling sorry for yourself! If you didn't get yourself drunk, you wouldn't be suffering the consequences!" my chef, mark, said while he opened my drapes. Yes I said chef. Let's just say my mum is rich and she doesn't care about me that much, or so I thought...
"I know I know… it's just, you know... I have my reasons," I sighed and sat up "Yeah well, it is bad and you should stop. Now get your sorry ass out of bed and into the shower you lazy bugger. Besides, you know if you’re gonna drink only on Friday and Saturday nights, not Tuesday nights!"
My name is Annie Smith. My mum is a rich and famous fashion designer that goes by a fake name and she married a very successful solicitor. I have an awkward family state, I have three step siblings, one full and two half, yeah go figure. The steps live in the UK my older sister works for my mum and my two half siblings live with my dad and my step mum. I go to the school that I was enrolled in before my mm became rich and no one really knows who my mum really is apart from a couple of friends. Which means I go to a pretty pov school, I don't mean that in a bad way or anything, we muck around and claim that our school is rough but it isn't that bad.
School… let's just say I'm a wee bit of a nerd. Currently in year 11. Yeah I know what you're thinking, you got drunk and you study? Well I never let my fun time get in the way of my studies, I work hard and then I have fun. I'm not that out going or anything, I'm one of the quieter ones in my group, but people know that when I'm at a party, there will be entertainment. Let’s just say I'm a happy drunk.
After getting ready I ran downstairs and grabbed an apple, kissed mark goodbye and ran out the door, mark is like my father figure in the house, I was running late as it was so I decided to eat the apple when I got to school and jumped on my bike. I ride a motorbike, even though I'm under the age limit for legal driving, me being 16 and in Australia, you have to be at least 18 to drive by yourself let alone a bike. That is the best thing about having a parent with a lot of money; they can buy almost everything… but love.
When I got to school, I got a couple of looks. It looks really bad parking a motorbike in the school car park. I have to pay for two lockers so that I can have one to put my bike stuff in and the other for school stuff. As I was walking to my locker bay I saw him. Lochlan Jones. Aka Lucky or Lochy. I have had a major crush on him since year seven but it's not like anything would happen between us. I mean I'm the freakish nerd who likes to drink and he is the popular hot guy who has been dating a really nice girl since year nine. The funny thing is, almost all the girls love him, but he doesn't even take a glimpse at another girl, his eyes are only for her, Brittany Fraser, at least when she’s not watching. (What I mean by him being a player is that he will flirt and perv until the cows come home, sometimes he’ll make out with a girl, but that only happened once, he was really drunk). Personally I don't think she is that bad, she seems really nice but looks can be deceiving. They were holding hands and walking the same way that I was. I sighed and went a different way.
Once I had gotten all my books out of my locker, I turned around and saw the witty wackoes that I call my friends. I hugged them all and then we all started to complain about class and homework and I started to complain about hangovers. They all had a go at me about drinking so much, but my bestest friend, Emma, grabbed my arm and steered me to the girls toilets on the way to class.
“So, what did your mum do this time?” she asked while fixing her school uniform. I quickly put on some light make up, sure I'm a nerd, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t look pretty. “Nothing, i just felt like it. I was just. I dunno.” I said while looking at myself in the mirror. Emma sighed and locked the bathroom door. She then went to check if there was anyone in the toilets, no one was in here.
