Chapter 11

I’M SO SORRY! I kept on saying that I would upload, but I kept on getting distracted. First it was work, then exams, then our kitchen sink tap broke and overflowed as I was trying to write, then homework, then injuries, then going to my dads, birthday’s, deaths, colds and holidays, did I mention homework? But I am writing, the story hasn’t been forgotten. I'm just finding other things to do. I think I'm personally trying to distract myself. I dunno. But I have come to the conclusion that I have to write because I have been getting fans while I'm not even publishing! So, I suppose I have to suck it up, and get on with it. I really would like to say that I am gonna upload within the next month, but it’s me we’re talking about, well, I suppose reading/writing, plus I have shitloads of homework, as in 12 - 16 hours that I have to do within the next week along with make my deb dress, work (10.5 hours!), a funeral, go to the movies with my friends, and get over a cold.

“Relax. I’m pretty sure he didn’t see you,” I tried to calm Emma down; she too is a little bit clumsy. You see, we decided to go to the local shopping centre, so we were in target when Emma told me that she needed to get a new school bag. We had a full trolley; we had everything we needed plus more. Emma was pushing the trolley and as we were on our way to the bag part, Emma got distracted by the kids’ toys section because there is a massive sale on, and may have sort of pushed the trolley into the massive display of play dough. It was stacked in like box things shaped into a pyramid. Play dough containers went everywhere. I haven’t mentioned the best part though, Toby, Lochy and all their mates were across the other side of the aisle, looking at DVDs. Emma ran as soon as she saw them and hid at the bags section. I was left to clean up the play dough and pay for the damages, I don’t really mind, after all she is my best friend. Looking back now I do have to say that it was pretty funny.

“How could he not have seen me?” she asked. “Well, how about I ask Lochy when I get home?” she looked worried, “Will you remember?” she looked at me warily, “Yes” we finished our lunch. “Well, do you wanna get going now? I gotta do some homework.” She sighed, “Fine, let’s go then.” She said while pushing her chair back, I followed.

“Well. I guess I’ll see ya tomorrow at schoolio. Wanna lift?” “We should be able to walk to school, you know. I’ll map it out and text you the details later on this arvo, thanks for this, see ya tomorrow” she said while waving her bags at me and heading towards the front door.

Great. Now I have to study for maths and literature. Excellent.

As soon as I got back to Lochy’s house I grabbed my iPod and started collecting all of my homework. I decided to do it in the lounge room. While we were out we bought a little stand thingy, so I can do homework where ever I want, or use my laptop. I decided the lounge room would be the easiest place to so it. I plugged my lap top charger and laptop in and set everything while it was loading. As I was walking into the kitchen, my favourite song at the moment came on. Almost every week, I change my mind about who my favourite artist is. Take last week for instants, my favourite song was 1979 by good charlotte, mostly good charlotte’s album, cardiology, was my favourite for about a month, before that it was lady antebellum, stiff Dylans, INXS, Michael Buble, the cover album from the film Across the Universe, and I have recently discovered Bliss n Eso. They are pure awesomeness. Like, their song Addicted, the lyrics suit what is happening to me at the moment, what I’m feeling. I just got up to the first chorus as I was pulling the cordial out of the fridge,

“Stop relax and remember even in the worst weather

You'll find a way across it, there'll be brighter days honest

So get up, get out and get somethin’ that's on the real

Forget what you were taught and show these people how you feel

I have an arranged marriage to my crush, but he is sort of a playerWhere stories live. Discover now
