OLD CHAPTER

 chucked my school bag in the boot and grabbed my purse out of it first. Ten minutes later I was at Emma's. Wow. No traffic this early, wait how early is it? I checked my phone as i waited for someone to answer the door. Crap, no one is gonna hear the door. It's only 7, no wonder why it's so cold and dark… meh, I'll just use my key. As I walked into the kitchen to make myself a coffee, I bumped into a half naked Ross, Emma's twin. Yes I said twin, she is the youngest of seven kids, apart from her twin bro, there are five older boys and they all live in the one house with her parents. Yeah, sucks to be the only girl.

NEW CHAPTER

"Shit sorry," I said, well I blushed and looked down, then I realised that I was staring at his abs, he laughed, "Just can't get enough of me, huh?" "No, no she can't get enough of you" Emma said while she walked into the room. Did I mention that all her brothers were hot? Yeah well they are, as in ALL of them. "What are you doing here so early?" emma asked while packing her school bag.

"Couldn't sleep very well, and we better go, that way we can have more time to discuss.... Er… my punishment." I whispered the past part and glanced at Ross. He looked really confused. "Oh right, sorry let's go," Emma said while walking out the front door, "See ya Ross," we both said at the same time, she then slammed the front door and ran to my car and jumped in.

"So, what's your punishment?" she asked while playing with her thumbs. Both Emma and i know that when my mum has a punishment, it is a tough one. "I'll tell you when we get there," "It can't be that bad, you're here so it obviously isn't as bad as last time..." "Trust me, it's bad, it's worst than last time."

My last punishment was to be my mums model for a debutante shoot. I had to model all her deb dresses, as in the whole collection and I wasn't allowed to tell anyone why, not even a fake reason, so when I was asked why i was the model, I just had to ignore them. I told Freddie and Emma though.

We were sitting in the back corner of a macca's. We couldn't find anywhere else that could suit Emma's cravings. "So, you gonna tell me or what?" she asked with a mouthful of hotcakes. So I told her everything. It took her a couple of minutes for it to all sink in. She seemed almost as pissed as Lochlan when he first found out. I had to explain it twice and make it clear that she wasn't able to mention it to anyone else apart from me, and that she could talk to Freddie about it from tomorrow. When we were leaving she gave me a massive hug. "Do I get to be the maid of honor?" she asked in all seriousness, "Der" was all I said and got in the car. Apart from being pissed at my mum, Emma seemed pretty excited, only cause she would be the maid of honor.

The day went pretty fast, I caught a couple glimpses of Lochlan and seemed pretty depressed. I decided that I would talk to him on Saturday and make sure that he understood what was happening. After school I decided that Freddie and I would give emma a lift home and then we would go hack to his.

As soon as we got in the house, I told Freddie about the engagement. He freaked out a little bit. "You cant marry him! He will never you love you! He doesn't even deserve you! How could you do this to me?!" "You think I arranged this?! How could I do this to you?! It's me that is getting married against their own will, not YOU!" "You can't marry him!" "Why not?!" "Because I love you!" and then h kissed me. I pushed him off. "What do you think your doing?!" I screamed at him, "We can't do this." "But, you always tell me that you love me!" "Yeah, as a brother, this feels like incest to me, I love you, but not like that, I don't think I ever could. I'm sorry," i said. I realised that I was sending him mixed messages. When we would have sleepovers we would share a bed, and we would cuddle. But I never mention to do this. "I'm sorry, can we stay friends?" I asked while staring at him in hope.

"I don't think we can, your marrying my cousin, and you can't not. Could you please leave?" I started to cry silently. "Sure," I can't believe it, our friendship is ending. I grabbed as much of my stuff as I could from his room and put it in my bags. "Whatever you left behind I'll give to Emma," he said while holding the front door open for me. "I'm sorry," was the final thing I said to him before he shook his head and shut the door. That was when I burst out into full tears. I ran to my car and put all my stuff in the backseat and just drove. When I stopped, I was out the front of Emma's.

I went inside and went into Emma's room. Some of her brothers were in the dining room and saw my face as I went running up the stairs. They all looked at each other confused. I opened Emma's door and slammed it, then slid down the door crying. Emma looked up in shock then realised that I was crying and came and sat next to me and held me as I cried my heart out. I hate my mum. She ruined everything. She made my best friend hate me. She is making me get married. She is ruining my life!

I spilt my guts out to Emma and she just listened. When dinner was ready she brant it upstairs and we just ended up having a girls night in doing homework and binging on junk.

"I think that we should walk to school tomorrow," I said while closing my maths text book. "Good idea. Are you gonna stay tomorrow night? Do you want me to stay at your or do you wanna go home and stay alone for your last night?" she asked looking nervous.

"Ummmm, do you mind coming over? It's just I don't wanna be making things weirder than what they already are around here. Besides, you can help me figure out what to do about Lochy. We'll talk about it tomorrow. I think it's bed time" I said before standing up and stretching. I had the clothes that I was going to wear from freddie's so I got changed into my pj's. Since I planned on staying at Freddie's, I only had a singlet and short shorts. I really was sending him mixed messages.

As I was walking out of the bathroom, I heard a wolf whistle. I turned around a low and behold, guess who was standing there? Ross. "Piss off. I'm really not in the mood to deal with you right now. Please, just leave me alone," with that I walked away from him and climbed into my makeshift bed on the floor. And went to sleep.

Friday

"Annie wake up! We have to get ready for school!" the next thing I knew the doona had been ripped off of me and I was freezing cold. "Oh shut up Annie. It only takes ten minutes get ready. I'll eat breakfast on the way and I'll buy us lunch," I said while getting up. Fifteen minutes later we were out the door and on our way to school. It felt weird walking.

There was like Ross, Emma, me and one of her other brothers, Jack. He is in year 12 and is one of our school captains. It was so awkward. Since we were walking it took forever, and the worst part was we couldn't talk about girl stuff without them bagging us.

"So, Annie, care to share why you came running into our house crying yesterday?" asked Jessie.

"Jack! That's rude and mean!" emma scolded him

"I'm sure you'll know soon enough," was all i said before pulling out my iPod and put my music up full blast. I saw Emma whack him across the back of the head. Serves him right. He shouldn't be asking shit like that.

When we got to school it was pretty boring. Since I had a period one with Ross he kept on looking at me weird. I suppose he had the right to. Normally I'm all happy and bubbly but now i am all sad and depressed. It probably doesn't help that when I walked into class and put my books down next to Freddie and smiled. He looked up, frowned and picked up his books and moved. Ross seemed to catch on and n the way to period two he grabbed my arm and made me walk with him. "Is it Freddie's fault that you're all moody." he asked while stopping me in the hallway and keeping eye contact. Everyone stopped and stared, including Lochlan. I made eye contact with him……..
