“I’ll take it,” was all I said while walking out of the change room, Emma smiled. “Now, we need to find you a dress,” I said while turning around and smiling at Emma. “So, what are you girls doing?” he asked while grabbing our bags, I headed over to the register to pay for the dresses and shoes. “Shopping,” “No shit Dick Tracey, I mean what are you buying now?” Emma answered this time, “Just some dresses for Tyler’s party next weekend, are you going?” “Nah, I got work, wish I could though. You’ll look after Annie though yeah?” he asked looking scared. “Haven’t you heard? Our Annie here is gonna try not to drink, well unless something major happens between now and the party. But if she does drink, yes I will look after her,” Emma re-assured him. “Hey, we are gonna go see the 8:30 showing of limitless, wanna come? We bought three tickets...” “Sure, I’ll come, but why did you buy three tickets?” he asked, “Our shopping, but we’ll put it in my car before the movie starts, which means we only have enough time to grab accessories and dinner. No Emma, we are not having McDonalds.” I said while poking her side. We went to a jewellery shop and ended up spending a fortune. Let’s just say we bought enough to last us for the next couple of months, what? There was a sale!

“Crap, we forgot to get me some pj’s. Do you mind if we go to target while you go get dinner, we’ll eat it in the movie? Just get like sushi rolls or something, here take the money, we’ll meet you at the cinemas, I have the tickets see ya in like 30, and we’ll drop these off at the car too.” “Half an hour?” Emma asked, “Yeah, we’ll miss like the credits, but it will be alright. Come on, we better hurry, I need to get some new bras and undies, but I didn’t want to say that while Freddie was here.” Within two minutes we were at target and I went off to the pj’s. “Emma, can you go get some bras and undies for me please? You know my size. If they don’t have any cute ones or bonds, go to bras and things across the way, here take this.” I said while giving her the MasterCard. Emma ran off and got busy.

After about 10 minutes I had decided that I could only fit so much stuff in my car and only got 5 sets of pj’s and two pairs of trackies and about 5 singlets in different colours. I payed for them and walked out the front, I started to call Emma, “Hey, meet me at the car?” I asked, “Yeah sure, I’m paying for the stuff now,” we met at the car and just fit everything in. “You know, if we keep on shopping like this, we’re gonna have to hire a cab to follow us home.” I said while laughing. We got to the cinemas and Freddie was waiting out the front with lollies and drinks. “Hey, what happened to getting dinner?” I asked while showing our tickets to the movie dude out the front. “I thought that it would be better to get the waiters to bring us what we wanted, that way Emma could have maccas.” He said while smiling at Emma. "Fine, but I'm ordering mine now, I'm starving." I said while turning around to figure out what cinema we were in.
 
I went straight up to the desk and ordered what I wanted, Emma and Freddie did the same and we went and enjoyed the movie. After the movie finished, we managed to fit Freddie in the car and give him a lift home. "See ya at school on Monday," I yelled as he got out of the car. He turned and waved once he got to the front door. "So, girl talk time," I said while reversing out of the driveway. "Why did your mood change as soon as you saw Freddie?" I asked Emma.
 
"To be one hundred per cent honest with you it was because we had just started to talk about how you really felt about Lochlan and then he came along like it was nothing and now you two are friends again. Do you not remember what he said? He loves you, Annie! But you don't love him." she sighed and looked out the window. "Why are you so jealous? Hasn't lover-boy been at school lately?"
