Harry was back to being pissed off and mean. His nice attitude lasted 3 days and they were like heaven. Harry was funny and laughed with Louis, even talked with him in class. Now, he was rolling his eyes at every sentence that came out of the smaller boy's mouth.

It was Thursday morning and Louis arrived earlier than Harry. He walked into the under the sea themed library and just like every morning two of the best teachers in school sat next to each other talking about random things. "Hi Louis!" Miss. Kale said just like every morning. "Is Harry with you today?"

Katie, his other teacher, didn't seem like she was doing ok. Her eyes were all puffy and red like she had been crying. Katie quickly wiped them and put on a fake smile. "Hi Louis. Are you doing alright?"

"I'm fine. Are you doing alright?" The English teacher looked like she was about to break down again but she kept her cool.

"Good to hear." She went to the back room and Miss. Kale followed her until Louis was left alone in the big library. He decided to explore the shelves. Louis felt the cool spines under his finger tips, reading the titles one by one The Song of Achilles, They Both Die At The End, Eleanor & Park, and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. All of which Louis had read which made him think that he might actually like reading. He couldn't think for too much longer because Harry was stomping into the library with an intimidating face. Yeah, they were definitely back to square one.

Harry's parents had been fighting all night. Actual fighting this time. Their rekindled romance had only lasted a few days and it was like heaven to him. They were kind to each other. His dad always said please and thank you, his mom was always showing him more love than she used to. One of the nights they even watched a movie together as a family. Harry wished so bad that it could be like that all of the time.

Last night had been the worst he heard because Harry had actually heard everything. Turns out that his parents were actually planning on getting a divorce and that they decided to try and make it work over the next few days. But, before the week even came to a close, everything started burning. Harry felt horrible for wishing that his parents would get a divorce.

So, no one could blame Harry when he walked into school with a frozen frown plastered on his face. Louis and Harry sat down at their regular table and started drawing everything. Harry drew the stars hoping that one day he could touch them. It was like music to his ears listening to the lead being dragged across the paper and then back again.

Louis was drawing something that made him happy. There was a dog, Niall, a football and food. Now, the hardest part was to describe why those things made him happy. One, dogs were super cute. Two, Niall was his best friend so that was pretty self explanatory. Three, a football was so round. And Five, food tasted good.

Nope. Terrible reasons.

"Harry, what things make you happy?" Louis asked.

Harry sighed and lifted his head from his drawing. He tried his best to cover it but Louis caught a glimpse of it. It was a little boy hiding under the covers, he looked scared. Was that Harry? "I don't know. Cookies and drawing. Now focus."

Harry wouldn't admit that he had gotten softer with Louis because he knew that he didn't deserve that. Louis shook his head and started drawing the sun but instead it was a cookie. Then, he drew someone off to the side painting the river and the cookie sun.

A month passed by in school and Harry was the same as he always was. The weeks would start off great but by Friday he had zero patience left for anyone. Louis also kept getting glimpses of his art; he didn't know what they meant. But, he was worried for Harry if the protagonist in the drawings were in fact himself.

But, on this day in particular Harry was extra pissed off. He didn't even show up to the library in the morning, neither did Katie but she had been showing up less and less lately.

During homeroom, Harry passed out right next to Louis.

Pity another weird feeling.

The loud bell rang over their ears and the students practically ran to their next class. "Harry?" Louis whispered in his ear, but he didn't wake up, "Harry are you alright?"

"Uh, yeah." He groaned back after a while. Again, he had barely gotten any sleep. The fights were getting worse between his parents. At this point he wished for them to get a divorce. Harry got up and packed his bags, then left for the art room without saying goodbye to Louis.

Art hadn't been as bad as Harry thought it would be. He got used to Niall's annoying laugh and Ms. Tomlinson was starting to lighten up her room as the weeks went on. It was September now and the room was in the process of being redecorated. Leaves were taped up on the wall. There was a mix of oranges, reds, and yellows.

Harry sat in his regular seat and waited for her to start the class, "good morning everyone! Today we are going to be painting pumpkins. Well, practicing because drum roll please."

All of the students started banging on their desks in unison.

"WE ARE HAVING A PUMPKIN PAINTING CONTEST!!" All of the students gasped in excitement. The majority of the student body loved going head to head on almost everything. One year they even had a competition on who could guess the right side on a coin flip. It was great because Harry and Gemma won.

"Are you going to be competing too, Lots? I mean Ms. Tomlinson?" Niall smirked at her. Harry had learned that she hated the nickname Lots but everyone uses it anyway. Also, she didn't like cotton candy, which was the most questionable thing he had ever heard.

The teacher thought about it for a minute and the whole class was dead silent. "Yes I will!" The whole class cheered again because it was even more fun to go against your teacher.

For the rest of class Harry was planning out what he was going to do for his pumpkin. He decided that he would do a Halloween version of The Starry Night. Niall was going to paint a drum set. Harry had also learned that Niall was in a band and played the guitar but secretly his favorite instrument was the drums.

Louis heard it, a rumor about Harry and if it was true he felt horrible. No wonder he was always so rude to him. He didn't blame Harry at all. Something like that should never happen to anyone. He needed to talk to him at lunch, but when he walked in there was already a line in his direction.

I have no idea what I am doing with this book. I need to plan it out. Once that happens it will get better. I'm gonna plan it now.
