Harry and Louis held both of their creations close to their hearts. They felt so proud of what they made and hoped that Katie would feel the same way. Harry knocked on the library door to see if anyone would answer, "hey boys!" Said Ms. Kale, "what do you have there?"

"We have something for Katie." Louis grinned. "Is she here?"

Ms. Kale looked hesitant but nodded and took the boys to the back room where their teacher was sitting. She looked so empty inside and it made Louis' heart squeeze. Hopefully this helped a little bit. "Hey boys!" She tried to smile but no one in the room was buying it.

"We have something for you." Harry broke the awkward silence between everyone in the room. "Here."

He handed her the drawing and her eyes immediately started to water. "Oh my, thank you so much. It's beautiful, my dad would've loved this."

Louis smiled. He remembered what it was like to lose his own father, and their family had never been the same since. His mom had always been busy with work, so now it was Louis and Lottie's job to help out with the kids. "I have something for you too." Louis handed her the card and then Katie couldn't contain herself, tears started falling down her cheeks like a waterfall.

"Thank you boys so much. I don't think you understand how much it means to me." Katie smiled with tears running down her red cheeks and gave them a hug. "Now, go on. I need some time before school starts to freshen up."

Both of the boys nodded their heads and left the library. Louis was so happy that he could help Katie, and it made Harry's heartbeat so fast to see his friend filled with so much joy. He didn't think that he could feel that way about a person, let alone the person he wasn't supposed to like. But Harry realized something, Louis actually wasn't all that bad. Also, he was kind of cute too and Harry admired the way that he cared about people so much.

"Uh, this is kind of weird but do you want to go get something to eat with me at lunch?" Harry asked, "sorry that was a stupid question."

Harry walked away but Louis ran to catch up to him. "Hey! Wait! That wasn't a stupid question. Let's go out to lunch today, it'll be fun." Louis held Harry's shoulder and it made him feel little butterflies in his stomach. Gross. He wasn't supposed to feel that for him. But, at the same time, it made Harry blush like he was out in the winter weather.

"Ok, I'll see you then." He shook Louis hand off and ran to his locker because they showed up to school only 15 minutes before instead of 30 minutes like they usually did. "Bye Lou!"

"Bye." Louis said a bit sad. He enjoyed talking to Harry and having him around, so the goodbye was always the worst part, even if it was one sided. Then, he felt tapping on his shoulder which made him jump. "You scared me mate!"

"Sorry," Niall looked down at his shoes. He had unmatched socks, his hair wasn't brushed, and his backpack was left unzipped. "Did I just see you talking to the infamous Harry Styles?"

Louis looked him up and down, "what is wrong with your hair? You look like a unicorn." He reached out his hand and tried to flatten the back but Niall swatted his hand away.

"That's not the point, why were you talking to him?"

Louis lifted his eyebrow and started walking to his locker, "because I felt like it?"

"That's not a good enough reason. He's super weird, people say that he draws other classmates in his sketchbook to stalk them." He took the lock into his hand and put in the code before stuffing his blue backpack inside the small sliver of space.

"What do you mean? I can talk to whoever I want, and he's not like that. Harry is my friend." And maybe more. Louis thought for a moment but let the thought leave his mind.

"Every time I've ever talked to him he blew me off." Niall took a cliff bar out of his backpack and took a big bite of it, "I mean don't you think that's a bit weird?"

"No, what I think is a bit weird is the fact that you think everyone wants to be friends with you. Sometimes people like being on their own." Louis huffed out. He knew that Harry was bullied, of course he did because some of the people in his 'friend group' made fun of him. And, obviously Louis never joined it, but now he wasn't just going to stand for it. Especially now that they had a relationship. "Bye, Niall. I need to get to class." He excused himself and made his way toward Mr. Owens classroom for homeroom.

Louis sat in his cold seat next to Harry and looked at the question on the board. What's your favorite food? Well, that was a boring question so he decided to look at his phone for a while. The first thing that caught Louis' attention was a new video from a Youtuber he enjoyed watching, but just below that was a text message from his sister.

Lottie: Hey Lou, do you have some time during lunch? I have something to tell you

Louis: Yeah, I kind of had plans but I have 10 minutes that I have to spare before my next class.

That was true, gym and art started at a weird time and he never understood why. Louis started on his journal entry waiting for his sister to text back and eventually she did 5 minutes later.

Lottie: Sure. Meet me in my classroom, now. I will give you a pass.

Louis nodded his head and started packing up his backpack. Harry looked at him just a little bit worried which left his stomach flutter, but Louis gave him a reassuring smile. Lottie called Mr. Owens room and then he made his way down to the classroom. He tried not to worry too much about his sister because at his last school Lottie did this too.

He knocked on the door and Lottie opened it with a smile. So that must mean everything is ok, right? "What's up, Lots?"

"You have to promise not to be disappointed in me." Lottie looked down at her desk and messed around with her pens in the marble container. "I can't handle everyone being disappointed. I need at least you, Lou."

Louis sat his backpack down on Harry's desk. "I promise Lottie. Now tell me what it is. You're scaring me."

    "I'm pregnant."

Lottie kept her bright blue eyes glued to her pen jar. "You're what?"

"I-I'm pregnant, Louis." He didn't know what to say. But, of course he supported her, that's what brothers were for. "Are you going to say something?"

"I support you Lottie. Of course I do." Louis smiled and put his hand over his sisters. "I know mom will love it too. She's always wanted grandkids."

Lottie smiled because it was true. Jay was always wondering about their boyfriends or girlfriends to see if there was a future. "Thank you Louis. Thank you so much. Now get to class! I don't want to get in trouble."

*****

The day went on and Harry was unfortunately very excited about the lunch with Louis. He didn't want to be but he couldn't help it. His parents fighting died down because at this point they just ignored each other. Harry couldn't stop thinking about that night, or day, that his parents actually got along. What had gotten into them?

When the bell rang for lunch he practically jumped out of his seat and made his way to the front lobby where Louis said he would meet him. And, to Harry's surprise, the boy was already there with a huge smile on his face. Then they were there again, the stupid butterflies that he hated, so he decided to ignore them. "Hey Lou." Harry said, he had gotten used to the nickname. He actually thought it fit the boy better.

"Hi Haz." His smile was so contagious and no matter how much Harry tried to fight the smile growing on his own face, it still came. "Ready to go?"

"Yeah, I'm starving."
