Author's Note: So, I didn't expect to submit something oneshot related today. Game night was the previous night, and I'm pretty tired this morning. Still, editing this thing was quite easy, so, here we are...
Anyways....
Heheh. Heheheheheheh.
Enjoy.

???'s POV:
I took off the strange yellow coat I was wearing and took the hat off as well. Then, I turned to look at the strange building with a giant lowercase 'i' behind me.
Why am I here?
What is this place?
My entire body shivered with pain and uncomfortableness as I looked away from the degrading, aging building and left.
" H-HELLO?" I called out as I looked over a field of broken buildings and giant mountains and trees: Everything seems long overgrown.
In the distance, I spotted a strange man with black hair and beginnings of a beard walking, no, running towards me.
" HEY!" The man shouted, " YOU'RE ALIVE!" a grin formed on his face as I froze.
Who is this man?
D-Does he know me?
Do I know him?
As the man grew closer, I tried to take a step back causing the man's relieved, excited expression to turn to confusion and concern.
" Impulse?"
A sudden stabbing sensation in my gut caused me to tense up and hold myself. My body shuddered as I swallowed some vomit that tried to come out.
I put my hand over my mouth as I fell to my knees. My body began to shake even more as the man's eyes widened.
" Hey hey hey! You're alright..." The man spoke as calmly as he could, " Why would your name cause such a reaction though?" he questioned to himself as he slowly helped me to my feet. My head pounded as my arm was put around the man's shoulder.
" W-What is this place?" I questioned as the man's ear twitched, " It's Boatem...? Well, I guess it's what's left of it..." his expression turned solemn as he guided me away from the strange, ruined land.
" W-What does that mean?" I mumbled then coughed as my ribs began to ache.
The man shook his head, " Well, Doc did something... He messed with the code and managed to destroy both the Boatem Pole and Boatem Ho-" the man stopped mid sentence, " Wait, why don't you remember this?"
Why don't I remember?
Why don't I remember....?
I don't even remember who this man is... Let alone what a Boatem is... or...was...I guess.
I barely comprehend who I am...
"I... I don't know..." I mumbled as I crossed my arms and breathed heavily. The man frowned at me, " Seems like none of you remember."
After being led through a red desert of lava and strange rocks, I was taken underground into an odd cave.
The man's ears twitched as he helped me sit down on a good-sized bed. My body shivered as I looked around and spotted some other people. A small mixture of pain and concern raced through me as I put my hand to my chest.
Should I know these people? There's something off about them... I don't... I don't like it.
Three of the people were swaying and occasionally sniffling. Then, I looked past the mustached man with the pale skin and some sprouts on his head.
My body twitched again as I stared at the sad sight:
A strange bird-dragon man was laying in a warm-looking bed. Strapped to the man's face, a breathing machine was slowly giving him oxygen.
" W-What happened to him?" I whispered to the bear hybrid as he briefly stopped looking over me in order to look over at injured man.
" I-I found him buried within the remains of the Boatem Hole... He was in that meeting room and nearly crushed to death by some redstone parts and falling stone.." The man shuddered at the thought. For some reason, my eyes began to water at that information.
The bear man rubbed at my shoulder, " I'm sure that Grian-" the rest of that sentence didn't reach my ears as I immediately began to gag and tense up. As my vision blurred from the sudden pain from coughing, I briefly noticed that the other people in the room, minus the unconscious bird-dragon hybrid, were all shaking.
Quickly, the bear hybrid took out his communicator and began typing as his ears began to twitch. Then, the door to the room opened and a couple of people that I swore that I should recognize entered the room.
" What do you need us to do, Cub?" The blond man with the long tail spoke as he tilted his head. Cub, the bear hybrid, looked towards a chest, " Get some healing potions... and don't say any of their names... It.. It hurts them?" he frowned heavily.
The people that entered the room all nodded and got to work. The blond haired man with red eyes picked up a potion and made his way over to me. My entire body was still shaking as the man gently sat down next to me and placed the potion into my non-shaking hand.
" You probably don't remember me..." The man sighed as he helped me drink the potion. Briefly, my body became extremely warm as I finished the contents of the bottle. I breathed heavily as sweat formed on my brow.
" I-I'm sorry that I don't..." I mumbled as the man's ears twitched, " It's fine. As soon as X figures out a way to fix what Doc has done, then I'm sure that you guys will get your memory back."
I blinked.
I should know those two names... There's... There's something about them...
My shoulders tensed up as I coughed causing the hybrid's hands to raise towards me as if he was going to touch me. Then, the hybrid lowered his hands and crossed his arms over his chest.
After recovering from the coughing fit, a small twinge of guilt and concern overcame me as I moved closer to the stranger and hugged against him.
" I... I feel like I should know you..."
I whispered as the hybrid tensed up then slowly wrapped his arms around me,
" I feel like I should... miss you..."
