Author's Note: I always find myself leaning back on these kinda hibernation based stories for when Fall is ending and Winter is coming soon.

I've got more oneshots coming soon. Roughly two of them before I try n' tackle something for an AU I developed...

 Enjoy.

 Grian's POV:

Gem's forest had begun its transformation for the Autumn. The crisp, orange leaves had fallen and rested upon the dirt road that the Big Eyed Crew dug out in the beginning of the season.

My wings flapped as I adjusted how I was carrying the many shrunken down shulker boxes. As I winded the path towards Gem's starter case, I could hear the growing sounds of music and birds chirping.

I took in a deep breath of the fresh air as I spotted the large, magical tree that had a decent-sized flowery swing hanging from it.

Sitting with the tree, a happy Gem was swinging back and forth as long vines gently pushed her. Gem, upon noticing me, looked up at the tree as it swayed slightly. The tree gently grabbed the swing until it slowed to a stop.

I yawned as my wings flapped.

" Hey Grian!" Gem greeted as her ears both wiggled.

" H-Hey Gem." I greeted with another soft yawn.

Gem tilted her head as she reached out for the shulker boxes I was carrying. Carefully, Gem took the boxes from me and placed them into her inventory.

" So, why couldn't Scar drop off these deliveries?" Gem questioned with another tilt of her head. I blinked a couple of times, " R-Right, you haven't been around for hibernation times." I answered as I looked back towards Boatem.

" Scar's busy helping Cub out. Even though Cub's skin now represents his other world self, his bear-like qualities are still forcing him into semi-hibernation." I explained as quickly as I could before another yawn came out.

Gem nodded as she walked over to me; a small frown formed on her face as she rested her hand against my shoulder. I gave her a confused look as I froze slightly.

My ears lowered as I took in a deep breath and rolled my neck slightly. Gem continued to frown, " Are you alright, Grian?" she questioned as I nodded.

" 'm fine, Gem. I just need to get back to Boatem." I lied as I motioned behind me. My tail twitched as thoughts walked through my mind.

I'm not actually fine, am I?

It's real odd. X checked my code after I became a dragon hybrid, and he specifically told me that I wouldn't get affected by the hibernation code at all.

My tail twitched as I let out another yawn. After stretching and waving off Gem's concerned gesture of letting me stay at her place, I flapped my wings and took off into the sky.

" Have a good day Gem!" I waved goodbye as Gem still gave me a concerned look as she nodded. I yawned again as I flapped my wings and headed towards Boatem.

As I flew through the air, a sudden chill caused my skin to crawl. I let out a soft grumble as my ears went back.

 Come on...

 I thought to myself.

I can make it... I'm not that tired...

The trees began to blur below me as I looked up and focused at what was ahead. My ears perked up as I spotted Scar's Swagon starter base and flapped my wings again.

As the cold air pushed again me, my eyes began to close as I let out a deep breath. The sounds of sheep, cows, llamas, and other animals caused my ears to wiggle.

 It was calming...

 It...

 It was nice....

 So...

 Tired....

 So... cold....

 " GRIAN!"

" AH!" I flapped my wings as my eyes snapped open. I yelped and just barely missed scraping against the ground.

I looked around and a daze and spotted Mumbo running towards me in all his potato glory. As I looked up at Mumbo, I felt a small twinge in my wing causing me to slide against the ground.

A whimper escaped from me as my ears lowered. The urge to sleep was already setting in as I looked up at Mumbo.

" G-Grian! Are you alright?" Mumbo questioned as he kneeled down next to me. I let out a small yawn as I slowly pushed myself to my feet.

" I-I'm...." I swayed slightly then steadied myself as my tail twitched, " I'm fine... Just a bit woozy." I mumbled as Mumbo put his hand on my shoulder. Mumbo's hand gripped against my shoulder as my body tried to sway again.

Mumbo shook his head, " Come on, Grian... " he sighed, " Let's get you to Pearl's base."

Gently, Mumbo scooped me up until I was in his arms. I growled at him, " I... I can walk.." I mumbled. Mumbo gave me a concerned look, " After almost colliding with the ground? I don't think so..."

Another tired grumble escaped from me as Mumbo carried me over to Pearl's starter base. I raised an eyebrow as Mumbo knocked on the door.

 " W-Why here?" I questioned with a yawn.

" According to Impulse, Pearl was here when the hibernation code decided to pay a visit." Mumbo answered as a concerned Impulse opened the door. Impulse took one look at me and sighed, " Hibernation Code?" he questioned as the both of us nodded.

Impulse waved us inside and motioned to a bed on the other side of the interior. As Mumbo sat me down, I looked beyond the two and towards a sleeping Pearl. Pearl's ears twitched as she mumbled to herself in her sleep.

" The sleeping phase should begin at any moment..." Impulse explained, " It'll be about three-ish days before everyone wakes up."

I sighed, " I know that.." I mumbled as Impulse looked at me, " But Mumbo doesn't." he corrected. Tiredly, I nodded as I took out my shulker box of clothes and partition. My ears twitched as I stared at the two.

Mumbo and Impulse both nodded, " Sleep well G." he smiled as the two left.

I let out a sigh as I set the partition down and stretched it out until I was alone. My ears twitched as I stood up and wobbled slightly.

 It's fine...

 I thought to myself.

 I'm fine...

Tiredly, I changed into my pajamas then took the partition down. When I did, Pearl was awake and staring at me.

" Grian?" Pearl questioned as I yawned, " H-Hi.. Pearl." another yawn, "I'm.. uh... I guess I'm just rooming with you until the Hibernation passes."

Pearl nodded then slowly turned over in order to go back to sleep. My tail twitched as I crawled back into bed and curled up under my blanket. A soft sigh escaped from me as I closed my eyes and immediately fell asleep.
