Author's Note: It's not actually the original way that this part was going to go. But, I decided to give it a more happy ending instead of a philosophical, lonely one.

Well, there's always the time for that kind of ending for another story, you know?

There's vaguely two more arcs that will be featured in this AU. Then, I can post the drawings I've done and also write down some other ideas for this AU that I won't be writing about.

Enjoy the end to the Octagon portion of this AU.

((Immediately after part 1))

 Doc's POV:

Ren's head was still against my chest as I continued to treat Ren's bloody nose. The hybrid's ears twitched as his tongue stuck out.

Once the bleeding had stopped, I discarded the rag to my side and laid Ren down onto the floor causing him to curl up into a ball.

" What was happening to you while I was still out of it?" I whispered as I stared down at Ren. The hybrid's tail curled against him as he crossed his arms over his chest.

I shook my head and gently rubbed my hand against Ren's shoulder.

Maybe, when he's awake and able to, he can tell me.

Slowly, I pushed myself to my feet and let out a soft hiss; The room briefly spun as I stuck my hooved leg out in order to balance myself.

 Stupid vertigo.

My tail thrashed as I rubbed at my only eye and sighed.

The dizziness soon faded as I coughed and rubbed at my throat while looking around the room that Ren and I were in.

The room was dark, cold, old, and only slightly rotten in smell. My nose twitched as I began searching the room for anything useful.

 The cupboards:

 Nothing.

 The barrels:

 Only rotten food and wood.

My ears twitched as I rubbed at my eye again. Forcing out a strained growl, I tapped my hoof against the ground.

There's nothing useful here to take with us. Or, well, there is some wood that I can take with us. You can never have too much wood.

I turned and looked towards the old bed that was just a pile of moth-hole-filled cloth. Looking in the nightstand beside it, I found a torch.

My tail twitched as I nodded my head. Okay, it's not much; however, it's still usable. I gathered the cloth and other materials that I found and brought it to the center of the room.

" Okay, " I mumbled to myself, " I think we've got all my needed." my tail twitched as I opened my inventory. With a nod of my head, I looked at each wooden tool.

Nodding my head, I took the spare wood and created some planks, a crafting bench, and a single boat.

Honestly, I'm not too certain that I'll need the boat; however, you can never be too prepared in a journey. On top of that, I'm thankful that I was even given wooden tools to begin with. If I wasn't, then I would lose a lot of this wood.

It's still concerning that whatever trapped us in the simulation also gave us tools outside of it. Why would they do this and not leave us with nothing?

What kind of dangers lurk in this new, real world?

 I blinked.

 New, real world....
