Author's Note: If you haven't read the first part to the Halloween special, I suggest that you do. You, technically, won't miss much, but it's still a polite thing to do.

If you're going Trick-or-Treating, be safe. If you're going to a party, also be safe.

Still, in the end, I hope you all have a wonderfully scary night.

 Anyways,

 Jason's POV:

Through the cover of darkness, Mighty, Sendrick, and I slowly made our way through the deep woods that blanketed the lower Woltria area.

A cool chill caused my body to shake as I climbed over a downed tree that was covered in scratch marks.

" Why couldn't Thomas come with you guys?" I questioned as S and Mighty both stopped moving. Quickly, Sendrick teleported in front of me until his ghostly, glowing face was only a few meters from my nose.

" Well," Sendrick's voice had become echo-y and practically vibrated through my skull, " Your brother's currently ah dragon...

Mighty's ears twitched as she stood on top of a stump, " Despite you losing your night vision, you can still move as you normally could before the transformation. We need as many able-bodied people as possible." she sighed as she messed with one of the purple-ish horns that had grown out of her skull.

I crossed my arms as the cold chill grew worse with Sendrick's closeness, " W-Why couldn't you get Charlie, Tyrone, or Arthur to join the hunt?" I questioned and immediately regretted my words.

Sendrick's solid blue eyes widened slightly as a low growl escaped from his mouth, " Watch your tongue, Phillips...." he hissed, " This is no hunt..." he floated away from me and returned to hovering beside Mighty.

Slowly, I put my fingers to the veins on my neck and let out a soft breath. The hair on my arms stood up as I closed my eyes.

 Damn...

I haven't... I forgot what is was like to have a pulse that was beating this fast... It's.. It's actually kind of painful.

 " Jason?"

 " AH!" I jumped.

" Jason, are you alright, man?" Mighty questioned as I fixed my glasses. I let out a shaky sigh, " I-I'm fine... I think?" I tried to take a deep breath but a sudden, jabbing pain stabbed me in my lower rib.

 It's fine..

 I'm fine..

Mighty's tail twitched, " Maybe we should've asked seen if the others could've joined us... You don't seem like you're... uh... mentally ready?" she shrugged. I narrowed my eyes, " I-I'm fine. Honest. Just not use to being a human is all."

The woods were now deathly silent as Mighty and Sendrick both stared at me with their glowing eyes. A soft light came from the moon and only made the glow from the eyes more sharp and intense.

I shuddered as a cold chill, not from Sendrick, passed through me as a howl rode the wind. The three of us perked up, and S's body began to glow.

" QUINN!" The penguin hybrid shouted as he began to look around the blackened forest of empty branches. Now, the coldness was coming from Sendrick as a strange mist came from the ghost as his breathing harshened.
