Author's Note: A story based around 100 hrs. Yep. Yep, I figured out a oneshot to do. Heheh. There ain't any drawings related to it though.

Though, with this done, I can now go and focus on Combatants AU and other things. Once I get the oneshots down to a smaller number, then I can work on other stories ('course, that probably will break and I will work on those other stories).

 Enjoy.

 Joel's POV:

My tail twitched as I walked through the Nether portal and shifted into the hellish plane. The sudden wave of heat caused my eyes to water as I growled and wiped the sweat off of my brow.

" GRIAN?" I called out as I kept a watchful eye for both my friend and the ghasts, " WHERE ARE YOU?"

As the ghasts wailed in the background, I began to trudge through the soul sand until I reached the solid netherrack.

 I frowned.

 " ....... "

A quiet, pained sound caused my ears to perk up.

I bit my lip as I listened for the sound again.

 " ...!"

My ears twitched as I followed the sound and headed towards the origin of the noise. Upon  reaching the location of where I heard the noise, the sound suddenly stopped.

 Weird.

I honestly assumed that Grian was here; he did say that he was close by when the ghast destroyed the portal.

" GRIAN?" I called out again as a squeak came from below me. Immediately, I took a couple of steps back as the fur on my tail and neck stood up.

I watched as a square-shaped hole was slowly dug into the ground. When enough light entered the hole, I could finally see the state that Grian was currently in.

 Grian looked up at me:

The hybrid's tired, hurt eyes glowed slightly as he pressed himself against the hot Netherrack wall.

" T-Turns out... T-The body can't h-handle being on three hearts for long.... a-and w-while being burnt from a bed explosion n' the gh-gh-ghast..." Grian stammered through his words as his ears lowered. I nodded my head as I broke some of the Netherrack in front of him and kneeled down.

Gently, I hooked my arms underneath Grian's armpits and scooped him up and out of the hole. The hybrid's tail swished as he let out a strained grumble.

" What hurts mate?" I questioned as Grian coughed, " My shield arm hurts... Legs s-s-sore too... from standing. M-Mightblood...." he words began to merge together as one eye began to close.

 I nodded my head.

Carefully, I adjusted Grian until he was on my back. Grian's wings flapped and eventually curled around me. Then, the hybrid's tail gently coiled around my neck.

" Don't get too comfy now. You shouldn't fall asleep when concussed." I mumbled as Grian let out a soft sigh and leaned his head against mine. Rolling my eyes, I stood up and headed towards the Nether portal.

After dealing with some nearing ghasts, The two of us exited the Nether and were greeted by afternoon sun of the overworld.

Even with the cave pass to Grian's base, there's no way that I can and should carry him there with all the drowned in the water and skeletons in the caves lurking about.
