Author's Note: Another new oneshot. This one also has elements of body horror in it but not as much as I Am You. It's certainly got gore in it though.
I've got another Simulation AU oneshot in the works, and a revamp of a project coming soon as well.
Enjoy this oneshot though.

Pearl's POV:
The bright, morning sun shined down on me as I finished terraforming part of my base. My tail twitched as I let out a soft yawn and stretched causing my eyes to stretch out.
BANG! BANG!
My ears perked up as I whipped my head around and looked up towards Grian's alleyway. I watched as Doc and Ren, in strange robes, flew away and back towards their base.
It looked like one of them was holding something in their hands. But, due to the bright sun and the shadows that they were casted in, I couldn't even begin to make out the details of the item.
But while I couldn't see the item, I could make out the blood and cobwebs that covered the two's faces and clothes.
I frowned as I looked down at Grian's alleyway once more.
Quickly, I glided down from my base and landed in front of the alleywa-
" -Irk!"
I forced my hand over my nose and gagged at the smell.
Blood.
The nearly toxic, metallic smell still burned my nostrils as I shook my head. Blood wasn't an uncommon smell in Boatem. When Mumbo became a bird-dragon hybrid, and when his wings grew in, you couldn't even be by him without smelling like the red fluid yourself.
Still, this feels different.
This feels worse.
My ears lowered as I pushed past the urge to gag and continued into the alley. Upon passing by the first couple of shops, I noticed the shulker boxes that had been turned over and the cobwebs that littered the area.
Suddenly, a new smell joined in with the blood:
Poison.
Or was it a weakness potion?
It didn't matter.
" GRIAN!" I shouted causing my voice to echo up and down the alleyway. I continued to walk towards the mess with growing nerves.
What did Doc and Ren do?
If they just simply killed Grian, then why hasn't he respawned yet?
My ears perked up to a strained sound:
A whimper.
Quickly, I sprinted to the noise and skidded to a halt. My ears lowered as I stared at the sight before me:
Grian but he only had one arm.
" G-Grian?" I questioned as Grian let out another soft whimper. The hybrid's bloody arm stump was bleeding at a steady pace.
I opened my inventory and let out a sigh of relief.
There, sitting on top of the rest of my stuff, was a clean rag that I collected just in case I needed to wipe off some sweat while building. Luckily, I didn't have to use it this time for its original purpose.
