Today was a very hectic day. I have joined this new batch on an online coaching site. Although I already was in a batch beforehand , but I joined quite late in that one and hence I was lagging behind since the very beginning. I could have completed my backlogs if I wished but my lazy ass just let it pile up on me . And now that I have found a new one , I was like- okay, this is a better option . I am sick of my behaviour. ugh . There is an argument in my favour though , that being I joined my old batch a month late. Anyways . So in this new batch , the schedule is vey hectic honestly .I have roughly 5 moths left in my hand and there's a hell lot of internal politics going in my batch . My chemistry teacher , which is a matter of fact , a mentor to other 5000 batch mates of mine, wishes us to attend two classes of his/her in a day from an other batch he/she is tutoring in order for faster syllabus completion. Might sound reasonable , as there's hardly anytime left now. But the schedule is really hectic . Like I will have to attend three classes of chemistry , three classes of biology and a lecture of physics (thank God, only one) every single day. And to top it all , our biology teacher left our batch today , declaring that he/ she won't be able to teach us from now on.
Actually , the batch I joined is a second batch started by the same teachers which were initially tutoring me in the old batch . For the sake of ease, lets call my old batch PCB 1.0 and the new one as PCB 2.0. Apparently , we were having this time clash between the 1.0 and 2.0 batch as our chemistry instructor wanted us to attend the classes of both the batches and our old chemistry and the new biology class is scheduled at the same time , the time being 4:30. Our chemistry teacher has this terrible habit of leaving his/her students uninformed in case if he/she is not going to take class that particular day or the days followed. As a teacher, I believe that one should inform their students about the rescheduled classes in advance . BUT he/she is a great teacher. He/she is like one of the most famous chemistry teacher in India and indeed he deserve this title because he makes chemistry all fun. But I guess he/she could have been better in the selection of words , which indirectly (or may be unintentionally ) used resulted us in loss of a great teacher. And most of the students are like pathetically childish in my batch . They don't even know how to speak to a teacher. Apparently these students started spamming our biology teacher with hateful messages , due to which he/ she left. I personally think that we should not get affected by online hateful messages or even offline ones. As for the online part , who even knows that how many of the accounts or identities might be fake ? Anyways, I am more concerned towards completing my syllabus by February , I don't have time for any kind of distractions or bullshit .
I did attend 4 lectures today and two Pomodoro sessions . It felt great. As of know , at 10:53 PM , I am left with two more lectures to watch , some notes to complete and two more Pomodoro sessions . I use this platform called study stream , which basically enables us to study and connect with thousands of (okaay, may be not thousands but hundreds -since time zone becomes a limiting factor here ) students online throughout the world through discord and zoom sessions. It really helps me with late night studies . Everyone should try it once , in case they are not able to focus or feel like studying every time.
This will be the end of my 11th November. I am planning to switch to T- minus countdown system , guess it may help in giving me some motivation and I might start to feel a little amount of pressure .
