AL-AN yelped as he collided with the floor inside of the fabrication base. He had been making very many trips to this base lately and was getting very tired of having to deal with the Shadow Leviathans.

He thought that the giant shadows would get easier and easier to deal with as AL-AN got used to them and learnt their patterns, but he was very wrong. It seemed like the leviathans had learnt to recognise AL-AN and Robin and where they would always go and therefore got harder and harder to deal with. At first they would never be chased for long and a simple electric shock would be enough to send them running. But as they kept making trips down here the shadows seemed to learn.

At first only one leviathan would chase them at a time and sometimes they even managed to avoid any at all. After time they got stopped by one more and more often. Then more than one would chase them and it kept growing until AL-AN now had had three Shadow Leviathans chase him all the way from the entrance to the Crystal Caves too the end of the Fabricator Caverns.

AL-AN shifted from where he was lying on the cold hard ground of the Fabrication Base. The floor wasn't that bad. It was cold and wet from AL-AN's entrance but still not that bad, or maybe he was just tried. In AL-AN's rush to get into the safety of the fabricator base he hadn't swam down to the level of the floor before going through the gate that kept the water out. IN doing so he crashed down to the ground and took a fair bit of water with him. Now he was pretty much lying in a puddle.

AL-AN looked over to his side as he heard Robin laugh as she walked towards him. "Hard time dealing with the big ghosts?" Robin asked as she stared at AL-AN, finding it funny how he was spread out over the floor. "What do you think?" AL-AN said looking away, not in the mood to be made fun of. "Don't you think you should get up? Everyone is waiting and I don't think this is the best image for they fearless leader" Robin said laughing. AL-AN scoffed not wanting to get up, every inch of his body was aching.

AL-AN had been working non-stop trying to find all the sanctuaries built on Subnautica. When AL-AN had gotten a physical form once more he knew that he needed to help the other of his kind still on this planet to have the same thing. There weren't many sanctuaries here but there were spread out enough to make AL-AN beyond exhausted.

He had just visited the last sanctuary which was on the other side of the planet, the planet might not be big but it was still a pain having to swim from one side of it to the other. Since the faze gates were still down he couldn't use them and if he used a ship he would be found by Alterra and all his efforts to hide from them would be wasted. Therefore he had the task to swim across the planet just to collect his most annoying college from his sanctuary. He also had to save as much resources as he could. There wasn't an endless about of energy of materials to build things and power things.

AL-AN sat up still not looking at Robin. He stretched out his arm, handing Robin the ion cube that AL-AN's colleague KAR-SHA (pronounced car (as in the vehicle) -shaw) was stored in. When AL-AN had been working against the virus most of his kind stayed on their home planet wanting their last moment to be in their home with the people that they cared about.

AL-AN however was still on Subnautica with a team of his most trusted colleagues. Since it had only been those four on the planet they had gotten really close and AL-AN was relieved to find them all alive. He only hoped that the people on his home planet was just as lucky.
