AL-AN sat cross legged on your bed, patiently waiting for you to return. He was fiddling slightly with your 'teddy bear' as you called it, in his hand whilst looking out the slit in the window curtains. AL-AN had been here for around a week now and he was growing more anxious and restless. He never thought he would admit it but he missed being outside in the water with all the dangerous creatures. Just swimming around without a care in the world.

In the time that AL-AN had been here with burned legs had made a quick recovery. His shoulder not so much. AL-AN could still feel his shoulder ache whenever he would rest in an awkward position or he tried to put to much weight on it, it would still send ripples of pain through his body. Because of this you insisted on AL-AN staying here until you knew he was perfectly fine and could be out alone without any supervision. AL-AN hoped you would let him out for some fresh air soon though. Yes, he did sneak out when you were somewhere else one of the first days he was here but after that you wouldn't let him out.

AL-AN couldn't blame you though. If he was taking care of someone or something he would too make sure that they were completely fine before he let them go and take care of themselves. AL-AN admired this part of you in a way. This was also your first time meeting an Architect and AL-AN couldn't help but suspect you were also keeping him here because you were curious about him and his kind and wanted to know more about him. Again it was totally understandable, besides that was the reason Robin and AL-AN didn't part ways when AL-AN got his body.

There was also many other factors contributing to this. Even though Alterra wasn't actively looking for AL-AN but, if you would let AL-AN out and about without making sure it was safe there was a chance he might have been spotted by someone else. If this happened AL-AN would most likely end up in some sort of lab. He shuddered slightly at the thought. You would probably be accused of betrayal and sent of the planet for keeping AL-AN away from the rest of Alterra. AL-AN could tell how much you loved this planet and everything on it. He didn't want to be the reason it was stripped away from you.

Although AL-AN couldn't help but worry. He had been here for much longer than he had thought, not that he didn't enjoy his time here but he was worried. Since you wouldn't let AL-AN leave Outpost zero and since Lillian was here he had no way of communicating with either Robin or his team. He couldn't meet up with Robin anywhere because of his shoulder and if he tried to communicate with his team through a network Lillian would definitely pick up on the signal and be all over it.

AL-AN had no idea what Robin and his team were doing or where were at this time. If his team was found by Alterra he would have no way of knowing. If something happened to one of them he had no way of knowing. AL-AN started to fiddling more with the tiny teddy bear, feeling anxiety bubble up inside of him. AL-AN then tried to think more logically. He couldn't be jumping to conclusions like this. If Alterra had found AL-AN's team then Lillian would have talked none stop about it. Even though you and Lillian weren't supposed to talk with the other humans in this sector people had still come and visited you behind managements back.

Lillian was a very social person, always liking to be surrounded by people. An 'extrovert' as you had called it. So it was hard for her to be here with no one other than you. So people came and visited behind managements back. No one seemed to mind it though, from what AL-AN could tell. It seemed that the ones that visited were just happy to see Lillian again. Even though they were doing something they weren't supposed too.

AL-AN wondered if Robin was getting as well along with his co-workers as well as Lillian did with hers? AL-AN knew that KAR-SHA was a handful but did Robin manage? AL-AN could definitely see Robin and NYKA getting along well. Both of them excited about all the different creatures of this planet. AL-AN could easily picture Robin teaching NYKA about humans whilst NYKA taught Robin about different plants and sea creatures.
