Restoration [AL-AN X Reader]

Getting to know each other (+Question)

(( OK I need to say some things. I am sorry that I haven't been updating more and updates with probably be a bit slower than the first chapters. All of the first chapters were planned from even before I started writing this and I have some things still planned. I have also been a bit demotivated since I have plans for another fanfic I really wanna write. I am a bit hesitant though since I am scared if I start that one now I won't update this fanfic as much but it had been really bothering me. I would like some feedback if you guys are ok with me starting to write that other one and maybe not write as much on this one? I will not discontinue this story though. That is something I refuse to do since there are so many people who are enjoying this, I mean we're already at almost 600 reads! 

Now is the question I want some feed back on. Can I start writing that other fanfic so I can just get it out of my system I have 90% of it planned out and I will just spit out chapters more than the squidshark screeches. I will still update this story once a week though but there may not be more than that like it has been before. Is that ok with you guys? ))

"Are you the only Architect around here or are there like a bunch of you?" you asked AL-AN, sipping your (tea/coffee/hot chocolate). You were curious wether AL-AN was the only Architect around, Lillian's theories really didn't help with your curiosity either. 

"I am not the only one here, I was for a while though. Me and a team have been here on the planet in different sanctuaries spear across the plant for many many decades" AL-AN explained. "For the last weeks I have been swimming across the entire planet to find my team. Now we are all here in this sector" AL-AN continued.

"Damn, I feel tired just by thinking of needing to swim that much" you said chuckling a bit. "I hope you do not mind me asking, but what is this?" AL-AN asked you, lifting up your teddy bear. "Oh, it's a teddy bear. It's a toy that is very common for small kid to have, I'm sure there is not a single kid in the world that hasn't had a teddy bear or some sort stuffed animal. Some adults collect them too" you explained happily, it felt weird to have to explain to someone what a teddy bear was.

"You said you were swimming across the planet, I thought you would have some sort of submarine?" you asked AL-AN, going back to your interrogation. "No, I do not have any sort of underwater vehicle. I do have another form that I use in the water though. I would show you it but I doubt you would let me in the water" AL-AN said, slouching and resting his head in one of his hand which was propped up on his crossed legs.

"You're right on that last part" you said chuckling a bit. You sipped your (tea/coffee/hot chocolate) thinking of what your next question should be. "Am I the first human you have talked to? Like face to face?" you asked curious.

"No, I have been staying  with Robin Ayou. She is Samantha Ayou's sister, I believe you knew each other" AL-AN answered. "I was stored in the sanctuary you found me in for many many decades when the power started going down. That is when I started emitting the distress signal Lillian had been taking an interest to. I did not trust Alterra which is why when Lillian first was searching for me she didn't find anything. After a while Robin had found me, at that time I didn't have enough power to wait for another of my kind or someone I thought I could trust more. Robin then saved me by transferring my consciousness into her mind. She then went on to build me this body and help me find my team. Now she is in a hidden base somewhere in this sector" AL-AN explained.

Wow, that was a lot to take in at once. You sat in your chair for some seconds trying to get your head around what AL-AN had just explained to you. What was the worst part was that the way AL-AN said it it sounded like it was nothing to him.
