Chapter 3

When I returned to school it was in the middle of lunch and I snuck in without anyone noticing. I went into the cafeteria and began talking with Mel (Melanie). Suddenly Harry approached us while scratching the back of his head. We stared at him.

"So could you guys help me to get Kaitlyn to go out with me?"

"What? Why did you just stand there while I was getting coffee thrown on me by Britney?" I snapped back.

"Eerrr oh yeah that. Erm, sorry about that. Now could you help me?"

"Fine," I said with no emotion.

I had no idea why I was helping him after he acted like a complete jerk, but I was. I did not like the idea of Harry and Kaitlyn but if that's what he wanted, then I'll give it to him. I love him so much and he doesn't know. He would rather be with a stuck up rich girl than be with me. This got me so jealous and angry. I didn't realise that my anger was clearly visible on my face until Mel pointed it out.

"Err, Allison? Is something wrong?" Mel asked slightly worried.

"What? No. Why would you ask that?" I think I sounded a bit rude.

"Your cheeks were....and you were..erm..and your fists were....yuh know, just forget it."

I sighed and walked away from Harry and Mel followed. We went outside and sat on a bench.

"Allison? What was that all about?" Melanie asked in a kind voice.

"Oh nothing. It's just that I can't stand Harry. Why would he ever want to be with Kaitlyn more than he would ever want to be with me. Why can't he love me like how I love him?" I said sadly.

Melanie put on a smile and hugged me really tightly. She was such a good friend. Always there when I needed her.

"You don't have to help Harry get Kaitlyn if you don't want to. You just have to tell him and I'm sure he'll understand."

"No, I want to help Harry. I want him to be happy, even though it breaks my heart. It's not like if I'm losing him as a friend, right?"

Witht that, the bell rang and Mel and I got up. She gave me a quick hug before going to her class.

"I admire how you love Harry enough to help him get another girl. You're a really good friend to him, and I hope he realises that," she whispered into my ear during our quick hug.

School finished faster than I expected. It flew by just like that. After school I went straight home and went up to my room. I dropped my bag on the floor and plopped face-down onto my bed. I didn't know what to feel. Happy? Sad? My emotions were playing with me. I was all sprawled out on my bed when the door opened.

I raised my head and looked in the door way to see Lily standing there.

"What's wrong Sunny?"

"Why would you think something's wrong?"

"You're my little sis! I know when something's wrong."

I told her to close the door and when she did, she came and sat by the foot of my bed. I told her everything. About my crush on Harry and what had happened earlier.

"I knew you had a crush on him!" she interrupted me smirking.

After my story, her advice was to follow my heart. What kind of advice was that? Couldn't she be more specific? That's what I didn't like about Lily, sometimes she would act like one of those reallt smart people in a movie who says something and then when the movie is over, then you understand what it meant.

I kept her words in mind though. 

"Follow my heart."

this story is still on hold but i have some time this weekend so i tried to update this chapter and i might be able to update this again and/or maybe Lost...In England, But Found too

well this chapter was kinda boring ut dont worry, there's a twist in the story soon! :)
