"Mom?" The voice echoed through the house.
"I'm in the kitchen!"
"Hi mama" Clara smiled ear to ear holding out her free arm.
"Oh sweetie,"Her mother sighed pulling them in a hug. "It's been so long since I've seen the two of you."
"We've missed you." She smiled bouncing the baby on her hip.
"My sweet Arabella," The older woman grabbed the baby into a hug. "Why don't you go settle in for your stay, and I'll catch up with my grand-baby."
"Don't spoil her too much!" The blonde smiled as she walked up the stairs to her room. slowly dialing the number she remembered by heart, she called the old house.
"Hello?" A male voice came from the other side.
"Hello, I was wondering if there was a Darrel or Ponyboy Curtis present?"
"No, but I can take a message. Who's speaking?"
"Clara Kennady-"
"VIOLET!!" She heard a jittery voice over the line.
"Two-Bit?"
"The one and only! What's up?"
"I'm back in town, and I have someone I want you guys to meet..."
"C'mon over! Ponyboy and I are home, Darry and Steve should be around in a bit."
"Are you sure?" She questioned.
"Yeah!"

The car pulled up into the familiar graveled driveway once again. She looked over to the giggly baby before she got out into the damp air. She looked into the familiar brown eyes, and button nose. It isn't hard to tell at all. She sat her on her hip and walked to the front door. She knocked once to be greeted by a voice telling her to come in from the inside.

"Hello?" Violet walked into the empty living room.
"Violet!" Steve came out and ran to hug her.
"Careful now." She laughed a little as Steve pulled back and looked down at the small person.
"And who may this little lady be?" Steve rested his hands on his knees looking at her.
"Violet brought a friend?!" Two-BIt shouted skipping to the living room.
"Not quite." She laughed as Ponyboy followed.
"This Arabella." She smiled propping her up.
"How is this possible?" Ponyboy questioned.
"What do you mean Pony?" Two-Bit asked with a smirk.
"She looks like him."
"It is."
"Wait what?" Steve stood up straight.
"When I came back for that week, I was with him."
"wait, so she's-" Two-Bit went on.
"Dallas's."
"Is he still in New York?"
"He came back last week..." Ponyboy answered.
"You should leave before he comes over." Two-Bit added.
"It wouldn't be good for him to figure out this way." Steve warned.
"For who to figure out what?" A New York accent froze the room.
"Dallas," Ponyboy stuttered.
"What's going on?" He spat.
"Can you?" Violet handed Arabella off to Steve before Dallas could notice her, as he took her out to the backdoor.
"Violet?" Dallas froze in his tracks as he turned to face him.
"Hi..." She smiled
"What's going on here?" Dallas questioned the group.
"I'm visiting. I think I'll be going now." She said pushing her way past him.

"Thank you." Violet smiled as Steve handed Arabella to her in the driveway.
"Just hurry up and get out of here. I don't want her or you to get hurt." Steve explained as she buckled the small child in her seat.
"Violet!" A door slammed and footsteps stomped down the porch. "We need to talk!"
"I need to go!" She raised her voice keeping her back to him.
"No! You said this last time, and you never came back."
"Dallas-"
"Save it! I cant deal with you coming and going with no explanation." Dallas spoke firmly. She took a deep breathe and turned around with the tiny human in the back of the car.
"I couldn't do it."
There was a moment of silence, each soul stood in place. Violet shut the car door, walking to the drivers seat. The small child looked out the window in curiosity. Dallas stood frozen as his eyes met his own. Soon the car was out of the driveway and back on the road.
