Its been a few days since the incident with Dallas. He's been very quiet, but in a good way you could say. No ones told me anything else about Sara since that day though. I've been stopping in on Dally at Bucks every now and then when he's not at the Curtis'. He has really bad nightmares so I end up comforting him a lot. I've also grown a close friendship with Soda in the past couple of days as well.

"Soda?"I asked him as I balanced on the sidewalk curb walking back from the DX.

"Ya Vi?"

"What's the story behind Sara?" He took a heavy breathe before even attempting to reply.

"Sara was Johnny's older cousin. She lived here before her parents died, and when they did, she moved to New York. Dally went to New York for about three years, and that's where they met. Dallas fell in love with Sara, and they moved back here to Tulsa, got a house from an old friend, and kinda adopted Johnny. Sara eventually got pregnant after awhile." He took another deep breathe. "Dal did some things he shouldn't have to get money. Sara went after him one day, and well, she got shot right in front of his own eyes. She lost the baby, and shortly after she died with it. She was only 16. Dallas tried so hard to watch after Johnny for her, but when he died, he went insane."

"Oh" was all I managed to say.

"You really remind Dallas of her,"He looked at me with sorrowful eyes. "You remind us all of her."

"I don't want it to seem like I'm replacing her"

"You're not. You're helping us move on in our lives. Sara was the only motherly, womanly spirit in the gang. When she died no one was the same. You're good for Dally, he needs you."

"I never thought of myself as being seen like that type of person."

"Violet, you are the only reason why Dallas hasn't tried killing himself again. You're keeping him alive."

"Hey Buck, is Dallas here?" I said walking into the smokey crowded house.

"Yeah, he's in his room."

"Thanks" I said directing myself up the stairs.

"Hey baby" A tall guy stopped me in the middle of the hallway.

"Not interested." I said trying to push myself past him.

"Who said you had to be interested?" He grabbed my one shoulder and pulled me back.

"Let go of me!" I said prying myself away.

"C'Mon baby" He grabbed my wrist tightly.

"I SAID LET GO OF ME!"

"Let's just have some fun baby." He pinned me up against the wall.

"LET ME GO!" I screamed as I spit in his face.

"You little Bitch!" He pulled me back and slapped me across the face.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?" I heard a voice of relief come from behind me.

"Stay out of it bud!" The man said looking at Dally.

"You son of a bitch" Dallas mumbled under his breathe as he pushed me out of the way and punch the guy in the nose. "C'mon doll." He said grabbing my wrist and leading me back to his room.

I stood in the corner of his room by the window near tears.

"He got ya pretty good" Dal walked over and ran his fingers over my red cheek.

"How comes guys find some sick fascination of slapping girls across the face."

"We don't, that's just the douch bags." He leaned down, now caressing my cheek.

"Thank you" I whispered as I looked up into his brown puppy eyes.

"Anytime" He leaned down a kissed me passionately hold my waist with one hand, and my cheek with the other. I wrapped my hand around his kneck as I ran my other fingers through his hair.

"Promise me you'll never leave me." I said as I pulled away and looked into his eyes.

"As long as you promise me." And with that I pulled him back in.
