"Hey Clara," Soda opened the front door. "you know you can always just walk in. The front door is always opened."

"Is Dallas here?" I asked not moving.

"He should be in a little bit. C'mon," He put his arm around me and pulled me inside. "your gonna get sick if you stay out in the rain."

"WOOOWEEE, now isn't it pretty little Violet." Two-Bit walked into the living room chuckling as he sat down on the floor with his cake and beer.

"What'd you call me?" I shot my glance over to him.

"That is your middle name right?" He took a gulp from his beer.

"Yeah, who told you?"

"You left your book here," Pony walked out "It had your full name in it."

"Oh"

"Well I gotta get going. I'll see ya later Violet, that is okay if I call you that?" Soda said walking out the door.

"Yeah, see ya." I smiled as I stood in the corner of the room.

"Pony?"

"Yeah?"

"Why is everyone calling me Violet now?"

"Well um," He rubbed the back of his neck looking lost for words. "Clara sounds like Sara, and she was an old friend."

"What happened?"

"She um," He stuttered for a moment. "she's not here."

"Ponyboy what are you doing?" Two-Bit walked over a little aggravated.

"Sorry." He looked over to the doorway to see Dallas standing there emotionless.

"Dallas, are you okay?" I walked over to him.

"So this is how it is? You think you can just come in here and replace her?" His voice became angry and cold.

"Dal, leave here alone she doesn't even know." Two-Bit came beside me.

"So you're trying to replace her? Is that it? All of you guys are trying to replace her?!"

"Dally, no ones trying to replace Sa-" Pony held back his words.

Dallas looked at him harshly and ran out. What just happened? The three of us exchanged glances for a moment until I ran out after him. They yelled at me telling me not to go after him, but I wanted an explanation.

"Dallas!" I yelled after him chasing him down the street.

"Dallas I don't know what I did!" I shouted and he stopped and turned around and walked towards me.

"Why don't you just leave." His voice blank.

"Why don't you just tell me what I did?" His eyes became watery and cold.

I stared up at him trying to understand as he pulled me close as I felt warm lips on mine. I had no idea what just happened in the past five minutes, but I went along with it.
