"Then there's Hebe, Aegipan, Kymopoleia, Desphoine, and...and..." Jason counted on how many Gods and goddesses are left that needs a shrine. Even with the help of the romans, who are fast builders, there are still some work to do. Camp Jupiter also suffered some damages from Gaia, even when we were fighting her here at Camp Half Blood. She is the earth after all.
Then there's this portal, a large arch that the Athena, Hephaestus, and Hectate cabin are working. As far as the Gods knew, this has never been attempted to be made, so the cabins have to run some experiments and tests before they were sure it was safe. Nobody wants to go into the portal and turn into thousands of tiny molecules.
There's also the new roman style bath house. Thank the gods for that! I will never take a bath on that blasted bathroom. Even now when it is regularly cleaned every once in a week.
Jason and I are sitting at the training arena, watching the Nike kids being taught to fight swords. We're here in case things escalated too far. Nike children can be awfully competitive.
I turned to Jason and said, "How about the three Horai?" Lessons here in Camp really helped.
"Oh yeah, them." He nodded thoughtfuly. He smiled softly and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Thanks, Pipes. I don't know what I would've done without you."
"Probably get blasted by a god for forgetting a shrine."
He chuckled. "Your siblings are next right? I noticed that they are certainly better than before."
I blushed. "Yeah. Thankfully, some of the younger ones are taking after my footsteps and learning to fight, instead of always fussing over their vanity," I said with a hint of pride in my voice. Even some, like Mitchell and Lacy, and a couple of others are a least handy with a knife or sword. And there's little Jane, with her taser lipstick. Handy for breaking up fights. Or punishing certain pranksters. Then there's Drew...
Jason chuckled and was about to say something, when a commotion broke out from the campers.
"I challenge you again! I will never give up!"
"Hey! This is your fifteenth turn! I'm next!"
"Shut up pipsqeak! You will never beat him! So shut your mouth!"
"What the hades did you just call me?!"
"Guys stop fighting! I can beat him better than you!"
"You guys are hopeless."
"Shut up!"
"Umm...guys...?" The cabin councillor has an expression that says 'not again'. They were probably fighting on who can beat him since he's the leader and probably the strongest of them. The Nike councilor glanced at us for help. Even if they are only six Nike campers, they can be a bit of a handful sometimes. Especially when they fight against Ares campers.
Jason shook his head and kissed my forehead. "I'm just gonna help him."
"Alright." I watched, with a small smile, as my boyfriend approached the group. When they noticed him, they shut their mouth in a respectful silence. He is one of the seven, and was an important part in the recent war. Many campers look up to him and Percy. I also heard that the unofficial leader son of Poseidon will become an official praetor of Camp Half Blood. But that's for another day.
