The next day, at monday, everyone at the school is utterly confused. Why you ask?

It is because of the five demigods at the school. No one saw Zach, Ken, Emery, and Vic, bully the loner Percy Jackson in the morning. In fact, it seems they were trying to stay away from him. They bullied other people, but not him. Theories and rumors passed around until it reached the group.

They were sitting at the cafeteria during lunch, talking just about anything and lowering their voices when they talked about demigod life.

Vic snorted. "It's just like having a double identity or whatever you call it. Like a superhero. At school, everyone thinks we're normal. At camp, we do'nt hide that we're half gods and we play crazy activities."

"Yep. Crazy activities like lava flowing climbing wall, a real arena that looked brand new, making statues with a chainsaw, etcetera, etcetera." Em waved her hand. "And wait a minute, do'nt tell me you, the sports and any other physical activities hater, actually did an activity." She said teasingly.

Vic sighed and dropped her head. "Piper threatened to confiscate my make up kit if I do'nt participate on the activities." She suddenly perked up. "Oh, the by the way. Did you know that Piper's dad is Tristan Mclean?! As in THE Tristan Mclean?!"

They both squealed, making the poor boys wince.

Emery ate a fry and looked over at Zach. "Hey Zach have you finished reading the book?"

Zach smiled sheepishly. "Nope." Em just shook her head and told him. "You should read it. They really went through some shit while we just had our normal lives." Her boyfriend just shrugged. "The past is past. No need to know about something that already happened."

"Hey guys, have you heared the rumors going around?" Ken asked before sipping on his shake. He continued. "Well they are about us and Jackson."

"Oh yeah? What is it?" Zach asked, curious.

Ken scowled. "One of them is that Percy somehow taught us a lesson outside school. That's why we do'nt bully him because we're scared." He scoffed.

"Well, he did'nt teach us a lesson. But we did learn his secret and now it's our secret too." Em stated.

"And we did see how he controlled the creek and how everyone listens to him at camp..." Vic said uncertainly. "And did'nt he save Zach and Em?"

"Oh come on, guys!" Ken almost shouted until he lowered his voice. "We need to prove them wrong. We need to show them that we're not afraid of Jackson. Next thing you know, everyone will say that we're wimps and are afraid of one person."

Vic raised an eyebrow, slightly interested. "What do you have in mind?"

Ken shrugged. "We go back to bullying him. Or maybe we could prank him." He said the last one with an evil grin.

Em shook her head. "Oh, come on guys. Let's just leave him alone."

"He might be some big-shot at camp, but here he's nothing." Ken said.

Vic just hummed thoughtfuly as she chewed her food, while Em and Zach said nothing. Em spoke, her gray eyes uncertain. "I do'nt know...He saved my life..."

Ken scoffed. "Oh, come on guys. Do'nt be such wimps."

"Wimp? Who are you calling wimp?" Zach said. "I'm the son of the king of the gods. I'm not a wimp."
