Disclaimer: The characters, their pasts, the camps CHB and CJ, and others and rights, go to Rick Riordan. Gods, monsters, and other mythological figures, places, and things, come from greek and roman mythologies that Rick Riordan had borrowed, and I in turn did too. I only own the OCs and the plot.

Vic let out a scream as a spinning shield flew past her. A giant hellhound bounded past with a bark.
She was inside the library when she had heard a bark outside. Her curiosity made her check it out since she hadn't expected Camp to have dogs.
This is how she found herself staring at the giant dog, the hellhound, catching the flying shield and barking another bone-rattling bark.
"Whoops! Sorry!" A familiar boy ran towards her. He looked at her and seemed to recognize her. He scowled. "Oh, it's you."
She scowled back as she recognized him as one of the Hermes kids. One of the twins.
"Vic!" she heared from inside the library.
She turned to see the rest of the gang. They were gaping at the huge hellhound, inside the camp boundaries, shaking its head from side to side with the shield still in its mouth. Drops of slobber sprayed around.
"Stoll!" says an annoyed voice. Nico, the boy who saved her and Ken's life by killing those dracaena, ran closer. "Didn't I tell you to play at the arena?"
Stoll pouted. "The Ares cabin kicked us out."
Nico sighed. "I'll just send him to Hannibal the Elephant. Oh, and give back her wallet, Connor."
Vic checked her pockets and, like he said, her wallet is gone. Connor pouted some more and gave back her wallet.
"W-what? How..."
Connor grinned, his eyes had the type of mischievous glint to them that make people check their belongings in fear of being stolen from. "Hermes is also the God of Thieves," he said with a tiny smirk.
"And Pranks! Dude, I just thought of a new one! Come on!" His twin, Travis ran up to him and dragged him away.
Nico shook his head. "I pity the poor soul who is their new victim," he mumbled, before running to the giant hellhound.
Vic moved closer to her friends who were still staring at the monster. Emery noticed her first. "Vic! Are you alright? Are you hurt?" she said worriedly, her eyes looking her over. Vic can't help but think how her grey eyes seem to fit her. But they're also a bit unnerving as they look to be calculating you, like she is thinking of the best way of taking you down in a fight. In fact, all of the Athenians have the same eyes.
"I'm fine. Almost hit by a flying shield, but fine," Vic assured her.
"You mean that shield?" Zach pointed at the drool covered scrap of crumpled metal.
"Um, It was...?"
Nico walked up to them with the hellhound behind him. "This is Mrs. O'leary. The only friendly hellhound. Just in case, you know, you try to attack her."
"A-alright..." Em stuttered and tried for a smile.
Nico whispered something to Mrs. O'leary and the hellhound ran and disappeared in a shadow. Emery and Zach's eyes widened.
"Where'd he go!?" Zach said.
Nico had a hint of a smile on his face as he answered, "She's now at the roman camp. That was shadow traveling." He seemed amused at their surprised faces. "I should be going. I need to go on an errand."
Just as he disappeared, the horn for dinner sounded.

Ken stood behind the Apollo kids as they went to the Dining pavilion. He was about to follow his siblings to the table when suddenly he heard campers gasp. He turned around to see Vic and his eyes widened.
Vic is glowing a faint pink. She had her red-brown hair in wavy curls that flow down her shoulders and back. She is in a red dress, and her make up brought out her caramel eyes. She looked like a goddess.
Ken stared at her like most other boys in the dining pavilion. Chiron went to her in his centaur form.
"All hail Victoria Hartwell, Daughter of Aphrodite, Goddess of Love."
The campers bowed while Vic stood stunned. She stared at her beautiful dress that had just appeared on her. She guessed this was how Aphrodite claimed her children.
Ken walked closer to her and held her close. He smiled at her. "You look beautiful."
She blushed and had a small smile on her face. "Thanks."
The Aphrodite table called at her to join them, making Ken and Vic separate to go to their respective tables.
After dinner was capture the flag. Campers vs Hunters.
Percy strapped some armor as the other campers did the same. He saw that Victoria had changed into camp clothes but she still had her make up and her hair is still in curls. He remembered Piper telling him that the same happened to her when she was claimed. He caught sight of his bullies' nervous expression. Maybe he should stop referring to them as his bullies. After all, they already knew about being a demigod, and Percy won't let them push him around anymore. Whether they were at school or at camp.
"You're going down Percy," Thalia said smirking, twirling her canister in her hand.
"In your dreams Spark plug." Percy smirked back.
Thalia scowled. "Kelphead."
"Pinec-" Percy was interrupted by Jason who pulled them apart. "Okay, okay. Not now, you two. You can beat each other up at Capture the flag."
Thalia stuck out her tongue at him and joined her sisters. Jason shook his head. "Is she really older than me?"
"Well, she is forever fifteen..."
Jason laughed. Chiron started to tell the rules of the game. Chiron's hoof thundered on the pavilion floor.
"Heroes!" he called. "You know the rules. The creek is the boundary line. Camp Half Blood shall take the west woods. The Hunters of Artemis shall take the east. I will serve as referee and battlefield medic. No unintentional maiming and all magic items are allowed. To your positions!"
They cheered and went inside the forest.
"Too bad we don't have Nico here. We would've had each of the Big three on our side," Jason said to Percy.
Percy agreed, "Yep. He'll miss all the fun."
