Luke's POV
Dylan's face appeared on my phone, but she was looking down at something. "Dylan." I called to get her attention. She looked up, giving me a small smile. "What are you doing?" I ask, holding my phone out in front of me. "Going through some paperwork. They are altering my contract a bit and they want me to read it over." She rolls her eyes. "Fun, how's the tour life?" "It's good. I have tonight off so I'm having a movie night with popcorn and ice cream." "Wish I could be there. I'm performing all week."
"Aww." She frowns. "When is your next day off?" "Next week on Wednesday or something." I shrug. "You have a lot of concerts in the next few weeks." She furrows her eyebrows. "I don't mind, I love it, I just wish I'd get a few more days off than one in the span of two weeks." "Have you tried to discuss this?" "No, I haven't had the time to." I shake my head. "Try and discuss that. You need some breaks." She urges.
"Maybe. You have next week off, right?" "Yeah, I'm going through my dads apartment and selling things and keeping other things." I sigh. My shoulders fell, I knew she wasn't looking forward to that. "What are you doing with the things you're keeping?" "Well, I just bought an apartment near Times Square so I'll move it all there. I'm in New York enough I need a place of my own since my dads isn't there anymore." I nod sadly.
"What are you doing for Valentine's Day?" "Performing." She grimaces. "Seriously?" She nods. "I wasn't originally but because I'm moving all of my dads things everything had to be moved so now I'm stuck performing." "That's not your fault though." "It is, I should have begun moving his things during our break before I went back to touring, but like I always do, I put it off till the last minute. I have two weeks until everything in there is sold randomly so I really need to get it all out."
"I'd help but I'm performing all next week. I can help you sort through the stuff you're keeping when we both have a break." "No, it's fine, I'll sort it as I go." "Are you sure?" I ask. She nods, giving me a smile. "Alright."
"How's touring for you?" "Good, Ashton broke his drums again." "Doesn't he always?" I nod, grinning. "Luke!" I turn around to see Calum walk in, his shirt in his hand. "We have to go practice the new song." He says, gesturing to the door. "I'll be there in a few." I nod. He leaves and I turn back to Dylan. "New song?"she asks. I nod. "Just Sayin, we added it to the set list." "I like that song, you guys are sassy." "When are we not?" "True. You're the sassiest punk rock wannabes I know." "How many punk rock wannabes do you know?" I frown. "Four." She giggles. I could never get tired of listening to her giggle.
"It's hilarious because you all claim to be punk rock yet Ashton giggles like a four year old girl, you strike the sassiest poses and refuse to kill spiders and adore penguins, Calum is like a little puppy and then there's Michael who could pull of the punk rock look but then he is like a total kitten and ruins it." "So judgmental." I accuse. "That's not judgmental, I'm stating the facts." She explains. "Mhmm." "Go practice your music." She pouts, crossing her arms over her chest. "Love you." I smile. "Love you too." She says back, giving me a smile. I hang up, heading down to the stage for practice.

Dylan's POV
I moved the last of my dads things I was keeping into my apartment, now filled with boxes of his things. I go back to the tour tomorrow, moving my dads things had taken a lot longer than I expected. I looked at the box in my arms, the top saying photo albums and videos.
I sighed, setting it down. I stared at it for a long time before finally grabbing my key and slicing the tape, pulling everything out. Inside on the top was our most recent family album, right before David died. I opened it up, seeing everyone's smiling faces. Back when our family wasn't a huge mess and no one had died and no one was famous.
