The twins got in the truck, with defeated breaths. They were the only ones who can help with translations here and no one been saying shit. I ain't even know the twins were mixed with the backgrounds they had, til after the second assignment 7 years ago. They might not speak spanish as fluently as Londyn and her cousin, but they can hang if they want to.

"I heard y'all stuttering, getting tired....?" I asked one of them.

"Aye....the rest of my Spanish is slipping. Mami over there started speaking that rapid fire spanish.....and I got hella confused....." Z started the truck and pulled off.

"I had to tell her that we was from Costa Rica....language is the same, but different terminology and sayings. One thing they say, is different from how we say it...." Messiah said, looking at his phone.

I can understand that.....

"We went through the whole countryside, Londyn's parents hiding real good...." Kyle said, letting out a deep breath.

"Just like all the people we asked said, 'I dunno who these people are'....." Siah started.

"Or.....'I ain't neva seen them before....' these people ain't finna talk...." Z said still driving.

It was frustrating as fuck, we spent the last 5 hours searching and searching.....all to end up with no results. I looked at my watch to see that it was after 4. Another 4 hours til night fall and we could go back to the mountain top and watch.

Start planning.....

"Let's just wait til after we talk to Lupé....once we get clearer info, we'll see what we can do. Right now with the civilians not talking, we ain't gon get nowhere....." I muttered. Lupé don't know what we do, just like Londyn....she just probably thinks we just work with the military, doing lil shit.

But I know she gon talk if it's helping getting her sister and brother in law to the states.

"In my opinion, these people knows Esteban and Lidia....everytime we show them the picture, you see them hiding the recognition...." Z said.

"All of them just careful, but why Londyn parents gotta stay in hiding so much.....more than the civilians.....?" Kyle asked and that's what I been asking myself, too.

I was just under the assumption that they had to hide, from time to time like everybody else does. What I first noticed since we got to Abdoli is.....all the civilians were out, but soon as they saw our truck.....they were more wary, yet ain't duck and dodge. Wouldn't it be like that with Londyn's parents? I woulda thought we'd see them walking round like the civilians....

"They hiding from the cartel more than the civilians. People who do that, got some typa personal connection with an enemy....." I muttered, staring out the windshield.

"What....Londyn dad used to work for the cartel......and wanted out.....?" EJ asked.

That made sense.....

"You can find out who was running the game before the brothers, Siah....? Esteban older than them, so maybe.....?" I'm just throwing shit in the air, cuz something needa nake sense.

This a family thing and maybe Esteban used to work with one of their family.....? Maybe he was somewhat in charge or knew somebody in charge......

I dunno.....

"This not the US, finding that typa info would be damn near impossible." Z said, still driving.
