"I just got home, pick me up in a couple hours. I needa get my nails done anyways...." I heard Serenity.

"You sure....?" She just got off from work. She needa get some sleep and give my godbaby some attention.

"Yeah.....I can take fatboi with me, you're driving. I'm off the next 3 days.....I'll be aight." It sounded like she brushed it off.

"Ok...." I looked at the time.

8:00 am.....

"I'll come get you round 11:30...." That should give her a couple hours of sleep.

"Aight....hey baby....." I heard her whispering to her crying son and I hung up.

I looked at the time again, it's like 4:00 am in Colombia, he wouldn't call. This would be the time they're really looking over whatever it is they're doing. I looked around the empty house, BJ's parents came to get him last night and it was just me in here.

I double checked the alarm, to make sure it was set. You'd think I'd go to my parents house instead....I felt more safer here.

I miss him.....

It's been about a week since I talked to Tej and I'm missing him bad. I walked to our room.....I looked around and saw my small touches of me in here. We barely been together and I miss sleeping next to him, the way he just pulls me to him in the middle of his sleep. I sat on the bed and answered my phone again.

"Hey mama....." I scooped up CheeChee, putting her on my lap and stroked her back.

"Hey, baby.....I'm getting ready to make some breakfast. You and BJ come over...."

"I'm coming alone, the Blakemore's came and got BJ last night." His parents wanna spend time with him as it was getting more chaotic and closer with elections.

In a couple weeks was the big rally at HU for senator Graham's campaign. I'm too excited, cuz one......the rally is at my very own school! I just submitted my application for my masters program and was waiting to hear word for an approval. And for a definite second....I was gonna meet the hopeful first black president, who was a close friend to Tej.....!

"Well why you ain't come sleep over here, then....? I know Serenity been at work the last 4 days...." I put CheeChee down and grabbed the keys to the SUV Tej left me.

"Ma...." I groaned.

When Serenity had off days, she'd sleep here with Sultan. It would keep me and BJ company.....Londyn was in NY with work. I think I'm well equipped here in this house, anyways.

"Ma, nothin. It's cuz of Tejmon, you miss him and wanna be close to him...." Me and CheeChee walked out the door and I set the alarm, I heard the pots and pans in her background. During the weekend, pops opened the shop late and mom didn't go to work. So she'd fix him a hot breakfast on the weekends.

"Is that a bad thing......?" My mom maybe a freee spirit, but she was the best person I really could bring the hard questions to. I buckled CheeChee in and I got in the car, my phone connected to the system.

"Of course not......Tej brought out a more confident you.....he brings outrhe best in you. You know Londyn and Serenity isn't gonna let nothing happen to you....but you feel more secure with him. He makes you feel wanted and you also know that he will tear into anyone that got something to say about you. I dunno where he is right now.....but you're that comfortable in knowing that he's gonna come protect his baby. It's ok to miss someone that important to you." I bit my lips driving towards the city.
