"I think I know who the taller one with the limp is....." EJ sounds angry, confused and frustrated......I looked at Tej when he dropped his head back with his eyes closed.
Knowing him this long......he knows what it is. I think I know, too.......
"Yeah....? Who.....?" River asked and the four of us dropped our heads when EJ spoke.
"Ernest......"
"Fuck......you sure, bruh.....?" Tej muttered, he looked at the challenger still driving.
"He got a bullet in his right leg, somebody brother or daddy came after his ass.....he never got the shit handled and he walks with a limp. Plus there was a Kool's cigarette butt in the back, that's his number one choice......." EJ said.
"Ok.....follow this white challenger, it's driving south on highway 86......" Tej started pacing back and forth, just thinking.
"Yeah....." That sounded like Rico. "Do you see a plate number.....?"
"It's possibly a fake one, DC plates.....Adam, Henry, Victor2480 (AHV2480)" Tej said when Quinton zoomed in a lil closer to get a better look.
"You said there's two bodies in the car.....?" EJ asked gruffly. I looked at the infrared images, they only gave off body heat and there was in fact two persons in the car.
"Yeah......" Siah said.
"Hm....." It got quiet on his end and we all looked at each other. We dunno EJ that long, we just met him earlier this year with the Ahmad situation.....but the minute Tej checked us bout saying his full name.....
There's bad blood between EJ and his dad.....we don't get in each other's personal lives like that. We just know the bare minimum, Siah and Z knows their parents are alive somewhere......but they don't even care if they never see them. Just like I don't care if I never physically meet my mom's family.
So, I can only assume it's the same with EJ and his pops......
"I take it that.....this isn't a good thing.....?" Colby turned to look at us. Tej bit his lips and looked up at one of the tv screens, where everybody is at.
"It's never good when he's around....." Hate dripped in EJ's voice.
I thought he ain't like Curtis.....but EJ obviously hated his sperm donor with an even bigger passion. Now this is the problem......will he....? Or will he not actually do it......? He said that he wanna find and end the life.....but that was before he confirmed that it was his pop's......
"You get to them.....you and Rico handle that......" River watched the challenger drive down the highway. We can only leave that decision to him.......but his next answer solidified what he said.
