I looked around the huge campus, I feel good that I finished my two classes successfully, but I still had one more. I saw that campus cafe and thought I should get something to eat. I know the three of them are gonna call and check in soon and if they hear I don't eat, then they calling Randy and his parents.
Not the typa phonecalls I wanna get from them....
I walked towards the cafe, thinking about the new family I found myself in. I've been in foster care since I was 8, I had it in my mind that I'd never find a new family. No one wants the damaged kid, who came from an even more damaged home. They would think that I'd be just as much of a problem like my own parents.....
I smiled at the barista and ordered some food. I looked around the small cafe.....it blatantly boasted of the HU pride and I couldn't be more proud to go here. When I moved up here with Rocki and her family, I made it my mission to do good with my grades and get accepted here. I wanted their pride in me, at least I was making someone proud and it feels good.
