"Is he ok....?" Tej asked. He got up, the blood all over his shirt. River passed him a towel from the truck, EJ wiped his face off and took out his phone.
"He's talking with Angel......" River said.

I saw a completely different EJ when he handled Ernest. I mean.....Curtis handled shit the way he thought he should and it does look bad. But we're all thinking that he did offer to help, before EJ was born and somewhere down the line......maybe EJ's mom was so hard on the dope and went back with a baby EJ to Ernest. So Curtis maybe got frustrated and couldn't keep running after her, he was running for assistant SOD at that time.
Everybody is responsible for their own decisions, EJ's mom got caught up with Ernest and he literally destroyed the woman's life and made EJ's worse......but that was her decision to even start that. Curtis had his thing and if he did offer the help, he tried while managing his career. It didn't work and he had to make the difficult decision to not help no more......it may have or have not been all Curtis fault, but let's be real......
He faced EJ in a right path, better than what Ernest would have done. Me, my bruh and Caine didn't at least have the typa structure EJ ended up having with his uncle. Cuz if Curtis was really through with his sister and chose to be selfish for himself and ignore her.....
He wouldn't have broke his neck and gave EJ this.....
So I understand when EJ said, he got upset with the wrong one. Curtis may have went about things the wrong way, but he cared way more than Ernest.
This is just what we're thinkin, EJ won't really know until him and Curtis talk. Like he intended to do when he first went to the hospital a couple days ago. Right now, Curtis is still out......but at least he moved his fingers! EJ walked to the truck, ignoring the dead body on the ground. Me and River followed him to the truck, I ran my hand down my face......

EJ looked like he was lost, Ernest face looking like a whole mess! He wasn't listening to me or River when we called out to him. I don't think he even heard us, it's like EJ's goal was to make sure Ernest felt everything. I had to call bae to get Angel on the phone.......
