Chapter 14

[Ohm P.O.V]
I saw my step brother, Chilled, with Minx. I'm only 2 years older than him. Our father made our mothers pregnant, but married Chilled's. We loved each other, even though his siblings hates me. I left him to have a happy life. I thought I'd leave him alone by staying here, but I guess not.

~FLASHBACK~

"Hey Ryan! Catch me if ya can!" Little Chilled shouted. "But I'm IT!" Little Dlive grinned. Chilled got tagged and chased me. I climbed up a tree, leaving Chilled jumping. "Can't climb trees, slow-poke?" I teased.

I waited for him and grinned."Why not chase after Dlive?" I asked. "No!" He answered. I kept watching Dlive running behind Chilled, but wouldn't notice him. "Tag me." A girl with brown hair and purple bangs commanded. Chilled tagged her and the girl apparently climbed the tree. For a split second I blinked, she's already behind me. I fell down in surprise. And she decided to fall on me. I turned my back making her, fall on my stomach. Then there it began.. our faces met each other.

She stood up, upon realising what we were doing. She smiled and blushed and said "Michelle.". "What?" I asked in confusion. "My name's Michelle." She repeated. "Oh, uh, I'm Ryan. And, this is Anthony, my brother, and Donald, my cousin." I said sheepishly. "Hi." She smiled. "Michelle! We have to go!" A girl with brown hair called."Okay! Just wait a sec, Ziegs!" She answered. She waved her hand and said her good bye.

"You got the hots for that girl, dude!" Dlive grinned. "Shut up! And besides, we're too young for that." I blushed.

We continued to talk and play and She even introduced us to Ziegs and Lizzie. We had fun. A lot. Dlive is developing a crush on Ziegs, I think. But I think he also likes Lizzie. And Chilled, on the other hand, is developing a crush on Minx. The problem? I think I'm catching myself falling in love with Minx.

Our fun in the family ended when I saw Chilled.. crying. "You okay, man?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm fine.." he answered. "No you're not. Tell me.. we're brothers." "Michelle." "What?" "I like Michelle." "Just that?" "Can I have her, please?" "Umm.. sure. I guess?" I said. I'm not going to use force. But can you ever say no to a 12-year old boy? Could ya? Apparently, you can. But I can never say 'no' to him though..

"Hey guys!" Minx waved. "Hey Ryan." Minx smiled. "Hey Michelle." I answered. I looked over to Chilled, who's frowning. I looked over at Dlive, who has a worried smile on his face.. I know, Dlive.

After playing, I went to my mom in the kitchen. "Mom! Can can go at grandpa's?" I asked. "Sure, honey. Why?" She asked. "I just really missed him so much.." "But you have school though." "Umm.. I was wondering.. if we can live there?" I asked. She stared at me with shock, but smiled aftrewards. "If that means getting out of the grip of your father, then sure"

I headed to the tree house, where we hang. And luckily, they're both there. I entered it and tried to put on a smile. "Hey.." I said. "Hey Ohm." Chilled said said"What's up?" Dlive asked. "Just gonna say goodbye.." I replied with a bit of sadness. "What? Why?" Chilled asked with a worried look on his face. "Because.. well.. you like Minx, and I thouht, she'd like you when I leave. I guess.." I answered. "But-" Dlive started. "This isn't the way.." He continued. "Well.. you can't really say 'no' now.. my mom already booked 2 tickets." I replied. "Fine. Where to?" Dlive asked. "Chicago." I answered. "Well.. I'll actually be going to NY in 3 days, remember?" Dlive reminded. "So what?" Chilled asked. "I can visit you there in a day or two." He continued.

I ran back to the house to pack my things. Should I say 'goodbye' to Minx or not? Maybe I shouldn't. Maybe Dlive can just tell her? I sighed as I ran back to my mom. "Hey mom, when will we leave?" I asked. "Well.. our flight's not until early morning. We will leave the house at two." She answered. I ran back to my room and changed my clothes. It's 9pm. I should sleep.

-Later that night-

"Ohm! Psst! Wake up! Wake up! WAKE UP!" Chilled shouted. I woke up in surprise since he yelled into my ear. I rubbed my ears and grunted. "Is that really necessary?" I asked. "Yes. But are you really leaving?" He asked. "Yes.. well.. if that means Minx'll like ya, then, yes." I replied. Chilled stared at me with shock, but hugged me afterwards. "You are the best bro ever." He whispered.
