Doctor who one shots *spoilers For Series 1-13*

*spoilers for series 13* reunited part two

Diane couldn't help it she gave him a hug which gave her a fuzzy feeling inside. She loved Dan. she knew she did, but she couldn't tell him. She didn't want to be rejected or spoil their friendship.

Dan immediately hugged her back saying " Diane, I've got you you're ok"

" thanks Dan" she said letting go reluctantly, surprised at the tears in her eyes. " I thought I'd lost you, Dan"

" never going to happen"

She smiled at him the fuzzy feeling never leaving her stomach.

" I sure hope not, lad"

" by the way Diane drinks on Halloween? I'm sorry I didn't turn up; I was kidnapped. You still on? I mean we could tonight? "

" yes. I haven't changed my mind"

" human fool we are still in a situation here. Stop your talking and get out of here and back in the Doctor's ship"

" I don't know how to control it. I don't even know if she does. "

" well come in my ship then! "

" what is that Dan"

" this is Karvanista an alien"

" come on! "

" alright, alright keep your fur on! But this time you're coming with me Diane. I am not leaving you alone again. "

She smiled at him and faced after them both towards Karvanista's ship.

" how we going to find the doctor? "
" I don't know. But we don't need to. We just need to stay in here safe from the Flux. "

" who's the Doctor and what's the flux,Dan?"

" She's well I don't really know. Yaz said she was an alien and she does have a spaceship so maybe. She's a good alien, though. She got rid of the sontarans in the past and the Weeping angels. The flux is some sort of thing like a swarm disintegrating planets and space itself. "

" what? I'm scared Dan"
" I'm here Di"

Karvanista left the space ship but they didn't notice because Dan gave Diane another hug and couldn't keep it in any longer.

" Di. we'll be ok. I won't let anything happen to you, "

she snuffled and sighed happily.

" I don't want anything to happen to you"

" I'll be fine. I'd rather die if it meant you were alive and happy "

" don't say that Dan. I would never be happy if you died so please don't. But do you really care for me that much? "

"Yes " Dan arms were still around her but Diane was holding his shoulder with her left hand (only hand). It's now or never, come on you've got to tell her as the world might be ending.

" I care for you more than I have ever cared for anyone, Di"

"Oh Dan.." She couldn't stop smiling. " me too"

and Dan kissed her softly. And Diane felt whole and peaceful and extremely happy. Complete bliss.

" I love you, Di"

" I love you, too, Dan"

They cuddled in each other's arms and fell asleep leaning against a wall in Karvanista's ship, big smiles on their faces.
