Doctor who one shots *spoilers For Series 1-13*

SPOILER ALERT for Flux Vanquished Dan and Di

"DAN!!"

"DI! ! "
He looked at Yaz as if saying can I go, or will you stop me like the Doctor did?
Yaz nodded, and he ran over to her hugging her.

Dan pulled away, saying "you're ok"

Di hit him on the shoulder.
" what was that for! "

" where've you been? "

" I... It is a bit hard to explain. "

She looked at him sadly. " why didn't you come and find me? "

" I've been a bit tied up"

"Dan.." She said looking annoyed and sad.

" I missed you, Di.... " he said.
" A lot"

She couldn't keep her face stern any longer. "I really missed you, too, Dan.. And I was terrified I would never see you, or Liverpool again" they smiled at each other, then Dan looked angry and said " if I ever see Swarm again I'll kill him! "

"Dan.."

They stared into each other's eyes.
" Vinder tried but he just sort of teleported. I tried too. "

" you tried? "
"Yes! Did you think I was weak?"
" no! "
" good. "

They smiled and kept looking from the floor to each other.

" I'm glad you're ok, Di"
" me too"

" Oh for goodness sake , Dan! Kiss her"

He stepped away abruptly. " Yaz! I forgot you were there. "
" I gathered, but go on, you've been missing her for 3 years, just Kiss her!"

Both Diane and Dan were very red-cheeked but Di's heart pounded with apprehension and hope.

Dan looked back at Di and saw her silence as wanting to kiss him, and he forgot Yaz and kissed her. They pulled apart sighing happily.

"Wait. Three years?! Is it 2024?!"

" No"

" what did she mean then? Who is she? "

"I'm Yaz, and we were stuck in the early twentieth century for 3 years. we only just got back, when the Sontarans------"
" potato heads "
" ----- started taking over"

" what?! How? "

" huh what are you talking about Dan? "

" never mind that let's talk about what just happened..... Yaz.. "

" right, see you later. I've got to find the Doctor" she smiled at them both and walked off.

"So" "so" they said at the same time.

Dan waited for Di.
"Why'd you kiss me?"

" Because.... Because"

" I love you. "
She smiled uncontrollably.

"I love you, Di, I have for a very long time"

" really? "

" yes. I'm sorry"

" what do you mean? "

" for keeping you waiting. I didn't realise. I was stupid. "

" Dan" she smiled. " I didn't realise I loved you either, well, until I was kidnapped. "

" so, you do love me? "
" yes. I love you, Dan Lewis" she laughed.

They grinned and Dan pulled her close and looked at her lips. "Kiss me"
He did as she said and pulled her even closer while kissing her deeply.

They pulled away but stayed hugging.

" I can't.... I can't believe you are really here. And you love me. It had just been a dream in my head, but now it's real.. "

" I feel the same"

" I always thought calling our 'dates' 'not dates' was wrong. It felt wrong but I didn't know why. "Di said.

"Me too, but I was also scared that you'd reject me or that we'd ruin what we already had but now I know that that doesn't matter because I love you and who knows how much time we'll have, after all I've seen, after everything that's happened. Look, how about we go on an actual date? To celebrate the universe not ending. "

" i'd love to, but I need to know first, is it a real date and are we official? "
He chuckled , " yes, we are official, official Scousers"

They laughed.
" but seriously yes we are officially dating. "
