After quite a long discussion about May and Blaine, it being decided that we would see how they went, before we said any relationship-ruining facts, Cody and I decided to get out of the room and go for a walk on the upper deck.

The sun was just setting, the sky a beautiful golden-pink hue. Cody and I walked in silence, taking in the peaceful quiet.

Earlier in the day, there was an announcement about movie-night in the lounge. Obviously, everybody had gone, hoping to meet some new people, or bed buddies.

"So-" Cody started, just as a muffled noise reached my ears, and I put up a hand, effectively shushing him. There it was again, a muffled... sob?

"Did you hear that?" I whispered, pointing toward a narrow alleyway between a cabin, and a lifeboat. Cody shook his head, just as another sob, louder this time, sounded. His eyes got wide, the whites showing all around.

"Do you think they're hurt?" He whispered, edging toward the noise. I reached out and grabbed his wrist, shaking my head.

"No, you might scare them. Geez, look at you." I muttered, gesturing at his dark clothing.

"Come on." He whined, pouting his bottom lip out, and as much as I would hate to ever admit it, was the most adorable thing I'd ever seen.

"Fine." I sighed, giving in. "But stay behind me, and try to be unobtrusive."

I carefully rounded the corner into the alley, to see a hunched up figure in a bright pink dress, sobbing into her knees, brown hair spilling around her in a long curtain.

"Excuse me?" I said tentatively, but she jumped giving a small shriek.

"G-o a-a-wa-ay" She said, between sobs.

"We just want to help. I'm Bree." I smiled softly, kneeling in front of the tall girl. She met my eyes, her brown eyes shining with unshed tears.

"I'm Cassia." She said quietly, her voice barely audible over the faint sound of waves crashing against the side of the boat.

"That's a really pretty name." I smiled, sitting properly and crossing my legs. Silently, I motioned for Cody to sit, he did, quickly and quietly without attracting her attention. That much.

"Who's that?" She whispered, and I stifled a small chuckle at his mouth hanging open.

"That's Cody. He's my.. friend." I hesitated slightly on the word friend, but nobody seemed to noticed, and Cassia just nodded.

"Do you want to talk about why you're upset?" Cassia nodded, hiccuping some. I rubbed her back, sympathetically, waiting for her to talk.

"Do you know James?" Her voice was low, and it seemed like she wasn't exactly talking to us, just asking the world in general.

I didn't know the James she spoke about, but Cody seemed to and his face darkened, a deep frown etching into his features.

"I know him." Cody spoke in an even tone, and she barely nodded before continuing.

"Well, he asked me out to the Cafeteria, then the rec room." Cassia rolled her beautiful brown eyes at that, before her attention drifted completely back to the story.

"I wasn't totally sure what to do, I don't really know him all that well, so I said yes. Like, get to know new people.." This was where she broke into quiet sobs. I snaked my arm around her shoulders, patting lightly.

"Shh, it'll be okay hun, just let it all out." I cooed, glancing at Cody, who just shrugged.

"He, he took me back to his cabin. I- "
