"Why are you two so happy?" Annette narrowed her eyes at Cody and I from across the lunch table. We hadn't told anybody we were together yet, to see who would figure it out first.
"We're docking again soon." I shrugged at the same time Cody mumbled, "Good lay."
"Hey!" I gasped, stabbing him with my plastic fork, and Annette's eyes narrowed further in speculation. She knew.
"Holy shit!" Annette giggled. "I didn't know you two were together." All five pairs of eyes at the table turned toward us.
"Well, it's a little weird that the one we've known the least amount of time figured it out, but good job, hun. That was a test." I chuckled, high-fiving Annette across the table.
"So, are you guys together?" May said excitedly from where she sat with Blaine on the other side of Kathryne.
"No, we're twins." I rolled my eyes, and nodded causing the females to squeal with joy. Feeling giddy, I joined in with them as they demanded every detail.
By the end of lunch I was exhausted, and there were no details left to possibly tell. I told the girls this as I backed out of the cafeteria and away from our table with a shrug. They agreed with a few pouts and sighs, but I knew they would be hounding me as soon as classes were over.

"Hey." May greeted as she, Kathryne and Annette sat down at our table. Last class of the day was English, and I only shared it with these three. I was getting into the school groove, therefore it wasn't much of a problem and my friends and I had worked out a study schedule.
I nodded in return just as the teacher started chatting about an upcoming essay about our roommate, and why we were lucky to have them. I just wanted to roll my eyes at that, I could write it in my sleep.
After class, Kathryne and I were headed to one of the study rooms to work on our essays since May and Annette had gone to check up on Cassia, and then work on their Calculus.
The largest study room was basically a huge rectangular room with two windows taking up about half the wall space. Long wooden tables took up the rest of the space, and there was a shelf of Encyclopedias and other school-related books near the door.
"So," I started once we were settled in with our books. "Who's your roommate?"
Kathryne sighed, blowing her red bangs out of her face. "That guy Cassia's dating. Apparently the guy who attacked her used to be his roommate. Ironic, huh?" She stated bitterly, tapping her pen on the table.
Oh, my god. It had never occurred to me that James had had a roommate, that would have been left alone after he left. I just wondered if Cassia knew.
"Yeah, ironic." I agreed, staring blankly at the sheet of paper in front of me while Kathryne texted Kaylum random questions so she could write about them.
"I have to go. I'll, uh.. see you later." I gathered up my stuff, remembering that I was supposed to meet Cody.

I was dancing down the hall, my I-pod blaring Chad Kroeger's why Don't you and I
When I turned the corner, though, I saw Blaine mashed up against the wall with somebody in front of him. I automatically assumed it was May, but wasn't that a flash of brown hair?
I shook the thoughts away. Blaine would never betray May like that. My cell phone was in my pocket, and it did have a camera... I snapped a few quick photos of the two mashed up against the wall and turned back toward May and Cody's room.
I tapped urgently over and over until the door was flung open to reveal Cody looking slightly angry. I'd clearly forgotten how early it was.
"Is May here?" I demanded ignoring Cody's pissed off expression. The look morphed into one of utter confusion before he pointed toward the bathroom.
